| If you like Minor Threat, this honestly is a must-have. If you don't like Minor Threat, this will be pointless of you to purchase. If you don't know who Minor Threat is, they are probably the most important punk band ever to come out of D.C., and this Complete Discography covers everything they pretty much ever released. Since they were around at a time when CD's were not completely standard, most of their stuff was 7" material or vinyl pressings (which are actually the same thing anyways, for the most part), so if you're not a fan of complete discographies because you'd rather own the actual albums, good luck finding Minor Threat albums on cd...it won't happen.
The actual material itself on this recording is stellar. It's been remastered but the recording wasn't tampered with. It doesn't sound glossy, just louder probably. Complete Discography is 26 really fast sloppy old-school punk songs about why Ian McKaye thinks drinking and smoking are stupid, being an opinionated punk teenager, and lots of agression anger releasing in a positive manner.
Standout track(s): In My Eyes; Out of Step; Minor Threat

| Classic! A must have for any hardcore or fugazi fan! Although I think the version of "Minor Threat" on teh "First Demo CD" was a better version. Go through these and you'll be surprised how many various bands covered at least one of them. From Pennywise (Minor Threat) to Slayer (Guilty of Being White, Filler, and I Don't Want to Hear It). Biggest surprise is the short amount of time the band was together. Amazing how such few songs cast such a big shadow. |

| This album is first rate from start to finish. Dont let anyone tell you fugazi is better ;they lack the intensity and the message that Minor Threat had and ian's voice is just wierd nowadays. If youre even a casual fan, you need look no further than this punk classic. Highlights include SCREAMIN' AT A WALL, MINOR THREAT(the theme song) and SALAD DAYS.

| this is a landmark punk record. most of minor threats recordings ever recorded are on this 26 song discography. whether you're straight edge, pothead, junkie, or drunk punk you will love minor threat. fast cathcy agressive music. this album, and certain songs really struck a chord with me when i discovered it 3 years ago. i thought it was so awesome that their were these cool guys singing about how they didn't do drugs, or smoke, or drink alcohol. it was just amazing. i love this record so much words can't describe it. favorite songs are filler, i don't wanna hear it, straight edge, small man big mouth, minor threat, in my eyes, stepping stone, betray, look back and laugh, little friend, and cashing in. i recommend it to anyone into punk music at all. if you like any kinda punk you will appreciate this album. i gaurantee it.
