| much better than their west for wishing ep, and the new version of 'greatest fall (of all time)' makes it a much better song. the 3rd track on this cd is catchy as all hell, and they change the tempo enough to keep this disk interesting. not as much screaming as you'd expect, which is sweet bc there seems to be a lot of that going around these days. still, if you are a senses fail or story of the year fan, pick it up. |

| As emo albums go this one is pretty damn good. A fast tempo matched by some excellent singing and harmonies gives this album that edge that some bands just cant find. Every song is enjoyable at worst and spine-tingling kick ass most of the time. Except the acoustic track in the middle, I guess you guys in the US (unfortunately) have Oasis, and this track is like a shite version of them. WHICH IS BAD!!But where there is evil there is always good, and Your Stories, My Alibis more than makes up for this acoustic slip-up. Infact it will blow you away!
Buy this, it positively rocks and has a very nice cover. |

| Wow....Very impressed. The EP was good so I wasn't sure if the full length would be as good. But I was wrong! Overall a great cd. Good break downs and back up vocals. I like this band so much more then Taking Back Sunday and those other emo bands. Saw them at Warp Tour 2003 and they are not a cd band, there bad ass live!! Good buy, get it! |

| when u look at the song ratings it seems like only 2 songs are good. i bought the album because i enjoyed west for wishing. west for wishing was a very pritcular ep which sounds like many other bands. when i listined to this album i was greatly surprised by how much they matured musically. the lyrics are still taky things a 12 year old could write but still loveble, every song amazed me and they put on a very good show......in other words matchbook romance are an amazing band that deserve to be known. this along with thursday, thrice, rufio, fata ,co and ca,early november, senses fails' new releases are the most complex realeases of 2003....i rate this album 10 out of 10.

| This band is amazing, I saw them live today(they're on tour with fall out boy and acceptance, see the fucking show you won't regret spending the 10 bucks), and I have to say I'd be surprised if after this album gains popularity that a bigger record label won't look into them to sign for their next album. I would definitely recommend this CD to anyone and everyone, it's just that good. Plus it has a little bit of everything, mostly emo, not to poppy, and not as much screaming as West for Wishing. Tracks 2,3 and 4 are the best, Your Stories My Alibis, Playing for Keeps, and Promise. BUY THIS CD, YOU NEED THIS CD. |

| After i heard Matchbook's EP, West For Wishing, i thought they where a pretty good band. When i heard their full length CD....DAMN, they are a great band. This is such a good CD and the band has progressed so much since their EP, i would recommend this CD to anyone, it is really good and has a touch of everything...kinda. There is not as much screaming on this CD, which i like because it seems like every band is screaming these days....and some bands arent made to scream...so it's a good break from that. overall its a great CD and you should check this CD out for sure. |

| wow this cd its one of the best emo punk albums i've listen this summer and fall. i know there are tons of cds coming out from alot bands but don't brush this one off. in my opioin they sound alot like finch which my fav band. from start to finsh each track kepted my attention and i wanted to listen to the next one. it also had a great blend of hard and soft songs which were arangged in the right way. so go out and buy this it is a must have and if you like finch these guys are what your looking for. |

| This cd in my opinion is amazing. I've only had it a couple of days, but I've listened to it entirely already a couple of times. It's kind of hard to base a comparison with this cd on their ep, because it seemed like the ep was so short and left you waiting for more. This album seems more of a continuation of West for Wishing than an evolution. Some of the songs on this album seem a tad bit more poppy, with one or two songs actually reminding me of All-American Rejects. It's still pretty different than a lot of other things out there though, primarily because of the amazing drum tracking. The bottom line is that this cd is something evolutionary of a lot of the other "emo-esque" bands these days, and that's something that can't be bad. This album will be stuck in heavy rotation in my cd player of the next couple of weeks. I still think you should buy their ep first though, if you haven't heard of them before. |
