This EP is being released as a "Thank You" to the ever-growing, avid Rufio fan base and works as the perfect bridge between "Perhaps, I Suppose" and Rufio's second full-length due out in Spring 2003. This enhanced 3-song EP features 3 brand new songs, live performance footage, exclusive photos, band interviews, backstage/candid footage and more! Recorded in Los Angeles in October, 2002, these new songs offer a glimpse into the direction in which Rufio is headed for their new album.

i wanted to speak my mind on reviewing the latest release from rufio, but i didn't feel like getting any death threats from anyone today...something must be wrong w/ me, cuz i don't get what is so good about these guys. to me its just generic sounding pop punk...i think it's boring and un original, but everyone else in the world loves this band so i don't know...i guess check it out and see for yourself, don't blame me if you hate it though.

Fun 3 track ep from Rufio. Rufio are one of my fav bands and this ep is a nice 3 track selection and a taste of the new album. Can't remember how much it is, but get it or wait for the album - your decision!

Being quite the Rufio fan, and eagerly anticipating the release of their next full length, I decided to pick up a copy of their new "teaser" ep. All that I can say is that I am certainly glad I did. The ep opens with "Why Wait," a song which has the familiar Rufio style, so of course, it can't fail, then comes "Set it Off" which is a little bit different than their previous works, but still with their signature sound (the beginning of the song almost reminds me of Autopilot Off's "Long Way to Fall"). Finally, "Don't Hate Me" comes on. I have to say, I believe this is one of the greatest songs that this band has ever written. It's not quite as fast as standard Rufio tunes, but it has a lot of great energy, so it rocks. Though this cd only contains 3 songs (some of their best work so far), it also has a lot of cool multimedia content (interviews, live clips, etc.) making it will worth the $4.50 I spent on it.

this whole pop-punk stuff is getting boring. I loved their first CD, but this is just repetitive. If you love Rufio and don't mind the lack of progression buy this, If you are like me and like your music to evolve don't buy it.

fucking awesome, words can't describe it, and the vids are funny. The funniest part was when they make fun of dashboard. that was great.

I'm not Teri...That's my mama. I'm Erin. Anyway, tracks 1 and 3 are in the usual Rufio style with intricate guitar solos and catchy, poppy sing-along lyrics, but 2 doesn't tickle my fancy as much. If you liked "Perhaps...I Suppose", you'll definitely like this EP.

The first song I ever heard by Rufio was "One Slowdance". Not that that's a bad song, but it doesn't really make Rufio stand apart from other pop punk bands. Maybe a month or two later, Perhaps, I Suppose finally came out, and it truly shocked me. These guys are, contrary to most of the bands that make similar music, very talented musicians and very creative songwriters. This EP is a natural progression forward from Perhaps, I suppose. The rhythms and riffs are a little trickier, the vocals are arguably better, and I'm excited to hear what their new full-length will sound like. Drawbacks: there's only three songs, and there's only one song under the live footage. But for $4, you can't really go wrong.
