OVERVIEW: Two great tastes that taste great together…Fish and Crack! Well, maybe only for the most refined palate, but for everyone else the melding of these two ska/punk powerhouses is oh so sweet to the ears! Having just completed a month's worth of sold out shows deemed “Cracktoberfest”, we're confident that this pairing is a true match made in the squats of heaven! Five new songs from each band will have fans of CITIZEN FISH and LEFTOVER CRACK on the edge of their seats. Each band takes a stab at covers of the other's current and past bands. CITIZEN FISH put their spin on LEFTOVER CRACK's “Clear Channel (Fuck Off!)”, and “Money” by Choking Victim. Not to be outdone, LEFTOVER CRACK step in with a crustified version of “The Super-Market Song” by CITIZEN FISH, followed by a run at The Subhuman's “Reason For Existence.” The two bands will join forces again with another US tour scheduled around the release of this split!

Citizen Fish was OK and LOC was worse. Im a huge fan of LOC and I was so disapointed at this album. If your looking for a great Leftover Crack album DONT BUY THIS ONE IT SUCKS! What the hell happend to this great band?

4/3/2007 by Joseph from Mississauga, ON Canada Rating:
I don't particularly like Citizen Fish, but I love LOC.

C.F. really kind of screwed up the LOC songs, and the covers really hurt the record on the whole, but it's tolerable.

LOC songs aren't really up to par as compared to their other releases, but they're still pretty good.

Good, not great. I'd give it 3.5 stars, but there doesn't seem to be an opition to do so.

If your a LOC fan, you will love this cd, they own Citizen Fish. This is a true hardcore punk band mixed with a ska punkish band (Citizen Fish).

3/23/2007 by Alex from Minot, ND Rating:
The majority of people who buy this will only do so because of the new Leftover Crack songs. Which is a good thing and hopefully they will listen to the Citizen Fish half of this split, which is fucking awsome. Both bands did a really good job on this split. Citizen Fish is great as usual and their LOC covers are really good. The LOC side is probably what will shine the brightest on this split. LOC returns with new songs about the decline of the world and people in it. Their sound has changed a little bit, it is a more poppier sounding LOC, which isn't a bad thing. Their music isn't that different from their past releases but the variations in vocals is different. Everything sounds great and really works well. Everyone who has listened to these two bands should buy this record. Even people who have never listened to either of these bands should buy this. This record will probably be one my favorite releases of the year.. and it's only just begun.

3/7/2007 by Soren from Copenhagen S, Denmark Rating:
Wow....this split cd is awesome. I have never taken the time to listen to Citizen Fish before, and what a big mistake that is, because they really blew me away when I heard this cd. I knew Leftöver Crack, so I was really excited to hear something new from them, and once again they didn't dissapoint me. The two bands on the cd plays some really great ska, and that mixed with some great lyrics is just awesome. Go buy this cd cause it's worth the money. This cd will NOT be leaving my stereo for a long time.

3/6/2007 by Lori from Berthoud, CO Rating:
This cd is great. Its fish and crack at thier finest. Fish gets kinda into the horns alot, wich isnt a bad thing, and LOC rocks it with some cathy ass ska and some pretty fuckin awesome lyrics. And theve got kind of a morning glory type sound coming up on world war 4. so any crack rock steady junkie should pick this up.

Stza is back with all his baby-punching fury. I heard several of these songs when they came to D.C. in November and have been craving their release ever since. Great production quality, sweet new intro and some clutch guest vocals from Jello and others. Fish also delivers with a tight cover of CV's "Money" and its own take on "Clear Channel." If you're already a crack city rocker there's no excuse for not pickin this one up. If not, get with the program kids. Do it!

3/6/2007 by Mark from San Francisco, CA Rating:
This much anticipated split CD from two of punk/ska's most legendary bands definately will not disappoint fans. The production is spot on and both bands are at the top of their game here. Nice packaging, and cover art that might be a little more at home on a SLAYER album but great nonetheless, rounds out what is sure to become a classic of the genre. Get this. Now.

3/5/2007 by Cody from Cypress, TX Rating:
Its finally here. Theres no need to explain who either of the bands are you should know by now. This was well worth the wait. Both bands are the shit, this CD is the shit, so buy this shit.

Great new LoC Intro
