Anti-Flag's Major Label debut!
Since For Blood And Empire is their first album since the 2004 Presidential debacle, Anti-Flag has amassed a lot to say. So, this time around they’ve enlisted the help of RCA Records, but in true Anti-Flag fashion, the band insisted For Blood and Empire still be done their way. They approached Rick Rubin protégé Dave Schiffman (System of a Down, Thrice, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave), to co-produce with them. With Schiffman by their side, the band’s messages are sounding bigger and more intense than ever.

| this is simply old anti-flag heavily influence by todays hot bands. imagine a-f mixed w/ some of the sing-a-long bands such as my chemical. its crap in so many ways, i would suggest downloading a few select songs and saving some money. |

| This is an awesome CD. Not on the level that A New Kind Of Army or Die For The Government was on. But still is a very good CD. Anti-Flag keeps up with the fast paced intensity that they are known for. And have a very strong message once again. This is a must buy for any Anti-Flag out there. |

| OK this is a hard review because I really like Anti-Flag, but to compare this CD to something like Die For the Government seems futile...I mean any transition for a band to go to a major record label is going to be a major transtition and many people are going to question the band's motives. However, in my idealistic mind I see Anti-Flag using a major record label such as RCA to spread their message and not to make money. Taking this all as completely impartial judgement, I really liked the music on this CD, even though it left me yearning for the old original, uncliched message of Anti-Flag which told the underground to rebel against every norm the government tried to lay on us. Taking this into consideration this CD is much catchier than older Anti-Flag CDs, but it has its own original sound, different from any other Anit-Flag production before it, and this uniqueness is definitely a good thing. I would say that if you haven't listened to Anti-Flag before, you should start with this band, like any other, from the beginning...however this is definitely worth listening to. |

| This album by Anti-Flag just solidifies their place as one of my favorite bands of all time. It's like they can't put out a bad record. I've never been dissapointed with any of their releases and this one continues the trend. First of all, Anti-Flag didn't sell out by going to RCA because their message is still the same. What they wanted is to get their message out to a larger audience and maybe help change at least some things in the long list of things that are wrong with this country. What I've always loved in A-F albums ever since Underground Network was the essays and info after every song and this one probably has the best of both. As far as the music goes this is top notch and you can see the growth on a lotta the songs. On this disc, they continue to evolve in the lyrics department. One that really stands out is "I'd Tell You But...." But there really isn't a bad song on here at all except for "One Trillion Dollars" but that has grown on me lately. Overall, one of their best albums, but thats something you could say about any of them. You definitely need to pick this one up now. |

| This is by far the best Anti-Flag to date. Its got the production value of Terror State, but incorprates all the styles from Die For The Government to Teror State. The liner notes alone are pretty sweet, with an essay and a story for each song, and a website or 2 for more information. A Must Buy, peroid. |

| I have been a fan of Anti-Flag since Die For the Government, and for the most part I like this CD. It is similar to The Terror State, but has more of a melodic pop-punk sound to some songs. Then there are other songs on there that remind me of their work from A New Kind of Army. Overall this is a good album. |

| That one star, its a lie so you will read thiAbosolutely Fucking Amazing. Angry liberal punk rock at its best. If you dislike Bush at all, buy this CD, even if you love classical music. If you think Bush is equal only to Jesus, but you like any kind of punk, buy this fucking cd.
why are you still online, buy the goddamn cd! |

| Good cd. Better than exscpected since it is released on rca records. What the Fu88 is up with that, Anti-flag has their own record label why would they team up with some damb corporate record company. Best song by far is 1 trillion dolloars, it's a great sing along song. This cd also features a us congressmen from washington state. totally cool. Depleted urinum is a war crime, get that sh7t off our bullets, and get are bullets out of iraq, Fu87 the war its all a lie. Support anti-flag because they have good ideas and their hearts are in the right place. For a first time anti-flag listener get Die for the Government, it is a must have. |
