For their much anticipated second album, Comeback Kid went into The Blasting Room to work with Bill Stevenson (of Descendents, ALL, and Black Flag fame) and Jason Livemore. Comeback Kid’s relentless drive allowed them to further develop upon their already amazing energy level, and has led them to progress musically and creatively on this new record.

Great hardcore album. The best track in my opinion is, of course, Wake the Dead. I don't own Turn it Around but i like that too, and i will get it eventually, and recommend that to everyone also. not as many breakdowns, as everyone has said, but the production is amazing.

I mean, yeah it's good. And I mean, yeah, of course Turn it Around is better. I like songs 1 and 3 the best. And song 7 is very pretty sounding, like emo almost. BUT you know what who cares, theyre coming with BANE and that show will rock so much.

3/1/2005 by Matthew from Ventura, CA Rating:
wtd is much more melodic than turn it around. still has alot of the same elements as the old, just not as much. the breakdowns are noticably less. it's a total feel good cd. it gripped me from the start and the rest didn't cease to force me to dig this. if you haven't already, check out CASEY JONES, CHAMPION, WITH HONOR, LOVE IS RED. xxxmattxxx

Awesome album, I've been looking forward to this release for a long time! Different than Turn it around but good! I love to hear bands like Comeback Kid, With Honor, Kill Your Idols, Sick of it All, Terror, The Promise, and Paint it Black (to name a few) keeping hardcore powerful and true! Can't wait till the Bane, Comeback Kid, With Honor show in Fredricksburg! If you live near there go!!!

2/25/2005 by Joe from Acworth, GA Rating:
not bad. not bad at all. i wouldn't go so far as to say that it tops "turn it around", but it's got some good stuff. if you're new to comeback kid, i'd recommend buying "turn it around" first, or at least buy it with this album.

2/24/2005 by Ernesto from New Orleans, LA Rating:
Few CDs have ever made me so happy on first listen. If you want sing along hardcore, this is it. I absolutely cannot wait to see CBK live and just scream along. I can't see anyone not liking this CD. If you are at all into more traditional hardcore, pick this up, you will enjoy it.

2/22/2005 by Kevin from Monroe Township, NJ Rating:
FANTASTIC album. It somehow tops "Turn it Around". With this release they chose to get a bit more melodic, and dare I say "punk" without having stones cast at me. There's slightly less breakdowns (which makes for a more solid and steadily paced album), but all the classic shout-alongs these guys are great out. Victory actually signed a decent band again.

This is easily the best sounding album to come out of The Blasting Room and one of Bill Stevenson's best production jobs. This album will making waves for a few years. Awesome, awesome album.

Favorite songs (they're all great): Talk is Cheap (at 1:16, it's brutal), Wake the Dead, False Idols Fall
