NFG's second full-length album shows a lot of maturity compared to their first. Jordan shows a lot more of his signature vocal stylings that became NFG's trademark on their later albums, something that was sorely lacking on "Nothing Gold Can Stay". This CD also contains a much better recording of "Hit or Miss", probably the best song from their 1st album. All in all, I would recommend to anyone listening to this band for the first time to start with this CD rather than "Nothing Gold Can Stay", as it only gets better from here!

I can't believe I'm just reviewing this now... it obviously came out a while ago, and I had a burned copy of it, then bought it and now I'm reviewing it. Nonetheless, it's a fun album. Pretty simple pop-punk, relationship-lyric songs that are enjoyable to rock out to or chill listening to. It's hard for me to say which NFG album I like the most, but this one is always a consideration, although I was impressed by their newest release, Catalyst. They managed to put out another good album, in my opinion. Favorite tracks on this CD are 2 & 12, although "Hit or Miss" obviously made them much more popular. Bottom line: if you like NFG, you'll like this album. I do...

I have had this since the day it came out... This cd isn't as good as nothing gold can stay. It is just too much pop and the recording is too clean and not full at all. NO muscle in the guitars. I mean don't get me wrong musically the songs are super catchy but they lack in substance compared to NGCS. The lyrics seem to be like they digressed in age since writing the first album. I do love these guys though. They put on an amazing live show and I have been around following them since the beginning.

This CD is more of the same. Don't get em wrong I like it alot, but it doesn't break any new ground for NFG or the pop/emo/punk genre in general. Still I highly recomend it to fans of NFG or of pop-punk as it has soild, catchy tunes that you will listen to over and over. I'm still waiting for NFG to do something NEW though. Ah well...

Ok, I bought this cd cuz my friend said it was the shit. So I bought it and it sucks my fat dick. It is whining music just like the Ataris. About some bitch who don't like them or something. The fags need to stop making pussy music and sing as if they actually had something between their legs.
