Curl Up And Die - Only Good Bug Is A Dead Bug
A re-release of the debut CD from this soon-to-make-waves band of young punkers unloads the rock and drives it home with six tracks of pissed and powerful hardcore stun. Previous pressing of 1,000 copies sold like hotcakes without any distribution or store support involved. Have received favorable comparisons to groups like Coalesce, Poison the Well, and 18 Visions.

CUAD are one of my favorite metalcore bands of all time and this, being their debut effort, is nothing short of what you have come to expect from these humorous, yet bad ass, dudes. it's a shame that they are defunct but at least they left us with numerous releases of maturity (or lack there of with their awesome song titles) and plenty of growth in their back-catalog to throw 'bows and bust some heads.

The first Curl Up And Die release, and in my opinion, the best. The vocals are easier to understand on this one and the music is more traditional metal/hardcore. I love all this band's releases, but this is the one that started it all.

I purchased this cd without listening first due to a recommendation and I regret it. This sound has been recycled so many times. I can imagine that these fellows would put on a great live show, but this album is completely lackluster. beware

This is definitely the best Curl Up And Die CD. I like the new one a lot too, but for some reason I can't stop listening to this one. The vocals are easier to understand than the new CD (you can actually follow along to the lyrics, good luck trying that with the other one). The music is amazing, not quite as fast maybe as the new CD but it seems like there's definitely more mosh parts (the new one has a lot too but they seem spread farter apart). The hidden track is badass, and I think that's also on their 7". Someone told me the song was called "Hardcore Since I Was 10" or something like that. Anyway, amazing lyrics, great vocals, awesome music.
