Fat Wreck Chords 616

Released on October 24, 2000

Sorry, but this item is no longer available

Having spent the better part of the '90s releasing records (over 76 titles), touring like mad dogs, and making oodles and oodles of money, Gainesville, Florida's metallic, horn-ridden, punksters LESS THAN JAKE unload their fifth full-length album. Fifteen super-duper songs of witty observation, gut-wrenching humor, and high-flying fun. Creative digipak CD packaging just adds to the hilarity.

The only other less than jake album I have is anthem, so that's what I'm comparing it to. This ablum was pretty all right. None of the songs really stuck out.

I got this for 'look what happened' and i have to say, although i miss the horn lines, in the anthem version, with backup vocals, and cleaner sound, it's better.

what gets me the most on this album is the lyrics, they're really real, but this wouldn't be my first choice of less than jake album.

Great!I expect nothing less from LTJ. The only bad thing is the only horns they had on this album were trombones. Plus it comes in a cool digipack so it is really worth it. "Gainsville Rock City" and "Look What Happened" are my favorites. Typical eh?well, listen for yourself. Highly recomended if your not huge on ska,but want a LTJ cd

I bought this as a present for a friend. And my friend like it very much. I guess she would give it a 5

INCREDIBLE CD HANDS DOWN! A must have in your collection if you are a fan of ska. This is my favorite release from Less Than Jake. In a lot of ther songs they sing of their days in Gainesville, Florida, and their memories; its pretty awesome. My personal favorites are Kehoe, Hell Looks Alot Like L.A, and Is This Thing On? It has very cool cd artwork too. I would definately reccomend buying this if you have a little extra cash on ya. I also recommend Losing Streak.

This is actually, Dan from Weissbaden. Pretty good. Not as good as "Hello Rockview". Not as energetic.

6/5/2003 by Erika from Walla Walla, WA Rating:
Less Than Jake is one of the greatest bands of all time and this is another awesome release. Much more higher-production than Losing Streak and previous albums, but still fantastic.

4/7/2003 by Colby from Wurtulla, Australia Rating:
This cd is so great the mixed in trumbones give it the really mellow sounds. All songs onboard this cd are just the best and I rate them really high.
