FLOGGING MOLLY has arrived and they've brought their Celtic-influenced, high-spirited, soul-driven debut release with them. Swagger, produced by Steve Albini (Nirvana, Bush, The Pixies), expresses the enrgy and angst of the Irish through pungent lyrics and Guiness filled lungs. In the tradition of The Pogues & Shayne McGowan, Flogging Molly is in a category of their own. Flogging Molly can be seen playing at all of this years Van's Warped Tour.

| In my opinion the best cd of Flogging molly. All very good energetic songs except the last three. I got stressed up by these songs because this is really to folk for me. If you want to get into Flogging molly buy this one first. |

| The first studio album from the best band that exists today. Irish punk never sounded so good. If you are looking into this band for the first time, I suggest that you buy this CD first. I love the way that the traditional Irish music has weaved its way into the heart of the punk movement. Good job lads!! |

| Patrick from Wheeling, IL is, simply, wrong...there is a WORLD of difference (far more than a Mile) between 'Swagger' and 'Within A Mile..."; and it is hardly light and "poppy" - either musically or in lyric - as suggested. Swagger is, thus far, the mother of all FM product: it sways, lurches, ebbs and rolls...and then there are the lyrics - BRILLIANT ! If you are pathetic enought to restrict yourself to just one FM album, Swagger is the one to buy. Wot! |

| There are certain albums Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys put out that you have to be Irish and/or drunk to enjoy. "Swagger" is not one of them. No matter what time of the day or what time of the year it is, this record has songs to make you jump up and dance. The banjo and whistles realize their full potential here, without getting drowned out by all the hard rock that plagues Flogging Molly's current arrangements. Nor do the surf guitars and drum barrages take a back seat to Celtic folk. This is one of the rare instances where both can work together, and will for anybody looking for a good time. |

| Great CD, although I have the newest one, too, and there's not a ton of difference between them. I was going to write some long-winded review, but I realize that it doesn't matter. Flogging Molly is a fun band, the kind of music you listen to when you just want to enjoy a song, not because you're looking for a deeper meaning to shape your life. Its fast, poppy, and extremely well-played. Good stuff. I listen to it in my car from time to time. |

| I have been listening to this cd almost nonstop for a week. The songs are solid and so is the musicianship. I also like the lead singer's voice - its not quite what I expected. I will definitely go see this band live next time around. |

| While certainly not their best release (“Drunken Lullabies” is a much better album), “Swagger” is nothing to ignore. Songs like “Salty Dog”, “Black Friday Rule” and “Devil’s Dance Floor” are some of the better contributions they have made to the Celtic Punk scene. Flogging Molly is a decent band following in the footsteps of the likes of The Tossers and The Real McKenzies, and at times older bands such as The Pogues and Wolfe Tones. They have potential to make truly great music, only time will tell. This is a solid addition to the collection of those that are fans of the above mentioned bands and other Ceilidh bands, but a good listen to the likes of “Communication & Conviction” by The Tossers or “Rum, Sodomy & The Lash” by The Pogues will show where this album is lacking. I would recommend this album, but recommend anything by The Tossers and The Real McKenzies higher, as both these bands are less popish with a far better use of traditional instruments such as the mandolin, bagpipes, tin whistle and bodhran, while maintaining an energy to rival the best of the rest in the punk world. |

| I have to say, this cd kinda sucks. Besides for 'Salty Dog' It is light, scotish fiddle kind of music and does not resemble punk whatsoever.no energy. some of it even talks about god and bullshit like that. I JUST GAVE IT AWAY CUZ I COULDN'T SELL IT TO ANYONE. |

| Flogging molly, the best irish punk band ever. Thats not that difficult of an achievment. But they still rock. Its a very good release. If you like this definatly catch a show you won't be disapointed. |

| this and drunken lullabies have scarcely left my player since buying them; uplifting, witty, tuneful, at times frantic - some people say they are like the Pogues - i would say they would compare to "...and out come the wolves" era Rancid , if Rancid had an irish background (if you listen to the album, i think this comparison will make sense)If you buy this , you will enjoy it! |
