A live document of one of the last DKs shows captured on film just months before the band's break-up in '84. One of only two of their concerts ever filmed, this performance at San Francisco's legendary On Broadway catches the band at the height of their pre-legal wrangling punk powers. Fourteen songs total, this special DVD includes a complete discography, and other goofy technological shit. Imported from Europe..

i thought this dvd is good. i'll never get to see them live, so this is the next best thing. Jello definitly puts on hell of a show. The set list couldve been a tad better, but its got some good ones. PICK THIS SHIT UP!

5/16/2007 by Geoffrey from Auckland, New Zealand Rating:
This DVD almost made me feel like I was apart of the crowd. Really cool to watch Jello up on stage, just kind of let down it was only live footage and there was nothing with the band (probably something to do with their falling out huh?)

this is Dead Kennedys last performance on legendary San Pancho California DMPO it's great cuz you know...Dead Kennedys!...Self-Fucking explanatory, but the sound quality it's kinda shitty,as well as the song selection, there's a lot of missin' songs....lynch the landlord, drug me,chemical welfare, kill the poor, viva las vegas, and a bunch of songs from Plastic Surgery...but seein' Biafra mimics on stage laugh the shit out of yourself so fucken easy....I'll give it 3.5 don't get me wrong it's great, but get the early days dvd instead....

This is a good dvd. I wish they played more songs though. the sound was alright, and so was the picture.

Well Well Well I bought this dvd just because i miss jello. But the other members of the dead kennedys, just dont give a fuck. Pretty damn good dvd because of biafra's performance but i dont really appreciate what the dead kennedys are doing right now without jello. Everything has it's end, just assume it and don't destroy all what jello built by himself. Go JELLO Go PS i don't give a fuck where my money will go because i know that this dvd is a signification of the dead kennedys before they broke up.

1/31/2004 by Michelle from Pierre, SD Rating:
Jello is so beutiful and precious and inspiring on this ol video...never tired or bored lookin always a jumpin and a crowd interactin and singin great and just fuckin being so intense and perfect...they dont do much of their best songs which was almost disapointing ALMOST!!! they are just so amazing ill try to avoid making this just a flat out love letter since it is a review butt that shall be difficult and pointless, best performances are "MORAL MAJORITY" (ALSO THE SAME VERSION IS ON THE NEW DVD OF COURSE) "POLICE TRUCK" "LIFE SENTENCE" "MTV GET OFF THE AIR" "JOCK-O-RAMA" "RIOT" "BLEED FOR ME" honestly this looks like the best fuckin time ever makes yuh wanna cry or somethin for not being part of it...its the best best best best man and woman!!!

i am a greath dk fan,and this dvd is really greath...but the only reason why its not 5 stars its because i was expecting more from a dvd(bonus footage or something)but there is noting and the sound and the image is like vhs.But the show is one of the best i ever saw.dk's live performance was incredible.

5/9/2003 by Trevor from Midland, MI Rating:
This DVD is just great. Great, great, great. If you are any kind of Dead Kennedys fan, then this DVD is definitley a must have. If you don't own a DVD player, then I would recommend getting this on VHS. Even if you are just getting into the Dead Kennedys and aren't all that familiar with that many of their songs, it's still worth watching. It's a perfect document of a Dead Kennedys live show from back in the day, and it really shows the band in good form. You really get a good idea of what it was like to see the band play live, and it makes you wish could have been there. The band's energy and intensity playing is just awesome. Jello Biafra's interaction with the audience and his colorful comments about his political beliefs and what the band's songs are about are interesting as always. There are a few technical glitches in the show, such as when Jello's microphone cuts out a few times, or when a band member comes in late during a song or two, but that just makes it more real and raw. The good aspects of this show far exceed any bad ones. Why anyone would ever want to go see them play now without Jello singing is truly beyond my understanding.

4/27/2003 by Tyler from Sturgis, MI Rating:
Dead Kennedys live, what more could you ask for, besides actualy being at the show. This DVD really makes you feel like youre there with everyone jumpin' on the stage and all over its crazy. Jello just adds to the insanity with his improve of the songs, for example during the song "Riot" Jello acts like he is picking up a brick and throwing it, and threatening fans. The only downfall of this DVD is that DK doesnt play their best songs, just average ones, but its still a great DVD (i feel so hip saying DVD) and you get to see boobies, so pick it up now DAMNIT ALL!

11/3/2002 by Erik from Mound, MN Rating:
This is a great dv for dead kennedys fans. It hows them playing a show in san fran at the pinnicle of thei career. Jello is very enthusatic and it is one of the most entertianing concerts ive seen even though i'm not really there. They play all your dead kennedys favorites. Jello talks a bit about his views on various subject i highly recommend it if you are a dead kennedys fan.
