Mad Caddies

Santa Barbara's pride and joy (excluding former President Reagan) return with five brand new tracks of toe- tapping and earth-shaking punk-dixieland-jazz-mayhemcore tunes to send you straight to the pit. A diabolical combination of hardcore breaks and dixieland interludes glued together with a thick paste of thundering drums and overly harmonious vocals. Includes a cover of ABBA's hit "S.O.S." Which is exactly what I'm thinking.

All five songs are awesome. The caddies still had two guitarists on this ep so that makes it even better. This is another album that shows there progression as a band since quality softcore. Any mad caddies fan should get this, every song is good and it is just fun to listen to, and the dude below me is dumb for believing fat mike wrote these songs, it was a joke in the booklet. GOOD CD

WOO-WOO

Hi, this is an EP it has five songs on it. Only five. Do you know why? I do. Because it is an EP, not an LP. If you want an actual album look at actual albums, because this is an EP. It has five songs on it. Awsome band, and this is about as good as ska/punk EP's come. There are only five songs though cause it's an EP.

8/24/2003 by Ryan from Centreville, VA Rating:
Great EP. Only problem is is that you just want more because 5 songs aren't enough. Great cover as well. later.

2/2/2003 by Dustin from Irvine, KY Rating:
This is a great EP. Short, but sweet. My only complaint is the last song, I really couldn't get into it...thus my reason for giving it 4 out of 5 stars.

10/19/2002 by Bob from Bristol, United Kingdom Rating:
Now this is one fine CD. The 5 songs, written by Fat Mike, are much 'heavier' than their other CD's and there's not much of a ska influence. Still, they're really catchy and fast - I like the term mahemcore or evil Jazz - they kick ass.

I recommend this and all of the Mad Caddies' CDs - they are very talented.

5/13/2002 by Joe from Leicester, United Kingdom Rating:
Just like any Mad Caddies release this was great. I kept playing it over and over again. I especially liked 'something wrong at the playground and the cover or ABBA's SOS. The other songs were good but these stuck in my head. The only critisism of this cd is that its and EP and not Full length album and also it lacks some of the great ska riffs on some of the other releases. Never the less this is a great purchase for any Mad Caddies fan.

This cd is one of thier best in my opinion. The Mad Caddies are a great band and you should listen to thier music.

8/14/2001 by Andrew from Schenectady, NY Rating:
This EP absoultley ROCKS! If you are a Mad Caddies fan you must own this EP. Considering the lackluster effort on "Rock the Plank" this CD is a better choice. Hopefully the boys in MCs will get their act together and release another full-length that is as good as this EP. Buy this CD!!

6/28/2001 by Sean from Corfu, NY Rating:
This CD definitly proves the Mad Caddies as one of the best Ska bands ever after their previous release, Duck and Cover, which was one great album also. On this EP, all five songs are worth listening to over and over. The first song, "Falling Down", is a great "evil jazz" type song, which I can never listen to in low volume, with great use of the horns and rhythem, that will be a song stuck in my head forever, and the louder the better! "Somethings Wrong at the Playground", my second favorite, is also an extremly catchy song. If you like any type of ska/punk, this cd is a must-have.
