| Some songs are great, some are ok, I love more their early hardcore days than their REM type of music in their later years. |

| Releasing this mammoth collection was a great idea. Government Issue was a great D.C. Hardcore outfit that might have been outshined by the likes of Minor Threat and Bad Brains. But despite this, the band had a good run. This collection is part one of their run, and it rules for two reasons. First off, there's everything from the band's thunderous first EP all the way to their oddly cool self-titled album. Second of all, the collection totals out to almost an hour and a half. That's right. Almost an hour and a half of Government Issue! Just the thought of it makes me laugh maniacally. I can't wait to get volume two! |

| wow. i love this. these guys are definatly on the punker end of hardcore. the only thing that disappointed me was that didnt have the legless bull e.p. on here. but i have Dichord Year in 7" so thats covered. any ways this shit is catchy as hell.
no lyrics, but a thick booklet of other info is in here, this is the probably the heaviest(in weight) CD that i have
your better off buying this right from Dr. Strange, they uped the price since i bought it and the doctor has good shipping prices too. i think it comes to a total of like 13 while it'll come to a total of like 18 on here |

| This is a great way to score all those early G.I. recordings without having to spend a fortune. THANKS DR. STRANGE!! Those of you who missed out on this great band the first time around need to check this disc out. Personally, I could have done without the 137 different versions of "Sheer Terror," but other than that I've got no complaints. |

| Government Issue is not unlike a lot of early 80's punk bands. BUT YOU KNOW YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH fast, offbeat, loud punk rock. This is for fans of Articles Of Faith, the Avengers and any other loud, un-cheezy hardcore band there is. BUY IT. WHAT THE HELL? JUST BUY IT! |

| FOR THE AMOUNT OF FUCKING SONGS ON HERE IT IS TOTALLY WORTH THE 14 BUCKS. I FIRST HEARD THEM ON SOME COMPILATION WITH MINOR THREAT, YOUTH BRIGADE, AND TEEN IDLES. IF YOU LIKE EARLY HARDCORE PUNK LIKE THE BANDS IN THE LAST SENTENCE BUY THIS NOW. IM GI!! |
