Small Brown Bike

Our Own Wars

No Idea 76

Released on July 12, 1999

$16.00

Ten new songs from Michigan's Small Brown Bike. Reviewers note Jawbreaker & Hot Water Music as starting points. I'd say more, but Var isn't the best at these debriefings....

Easily my favorite Small Brown Bike release. I heard some of their other stuff they did after this and just couldn't get into this. But then I read that this album is a 'must have' so I got it...and love it. It's on No Idea Records, so you probably already know what to expect soundwise right?

I heard one mp3 from this record and made up my mind to buy it. I loved this record a lot but it got old really quick. If you are interested in hearing how bands start and progress buy it.

This is one of the best CDs of all time in my opinion. The first track, The Cannons And Tanks, is one of the most raw and truthful songs ive ever heard. 5 stars, no question.

I'd only heard a few songs of theirs but could tell, from the strength of those songs, that it would be worth getting a CD. I was definetely right. Really good CD, with Running, Swimming, Sinking being the highlight. Definetely worth the dollars.

RIP SBB

Pretty amazing album, Better than Dead Reckoning, and much better that The river Bed. All around solid. Check out HWM and Leatherface if you like this.

A must own. If you dig Hot Water Music and that sort of sound you'll definitely love these guys. The whole CD is awesome. One that must be in a good rock music collection.

Wow. This album is amazing. I could sit down and listen to it 78234 times in a row. The lyrics are so true and well written. The vocals are raw and emotional. The music is complex and well put together. SBB is the best post-hardcore band out there right now and this is a perfect example why. I bought this after Dead Reckoning and they are both equally good, but OOW is much more raw. You'll like SBB if you like, Hot Water Music, Casket Lottery, Jawbreaker, Cadillac Blindside.

Standouts: Cannons and Tanks, The Cold, Running Swimming Sinking, every song i guess!
