| Northstar isn't going to be remembered for their groundbreaking musical abilities; in fact, after a few listens you can notice a basic formula to most of their songs.
Despite this... I love the CD. Nick's voice has more emotional impact on this than on Pollyanna, but the lyrics are just as great. Very few singers can pull off a line like "I don't care about you now; you're not alive" without sounding cheesy.
I almost want to hold back on giving this a 5 because sometimes I feel like I abuse them... but what the hell.
Stand-out tracks: Rigged and Ready, Broken Parachute, My Ricochet, Taker Not A Giver, and Cinderella.
Oh fuck it, all of the songs are great. Only track I don't absolutely love has to be Daybreak. Go see them live sometime. |

| This is a good CD, but if you are looking for a great CD check out their new CD - Pollyanna. The best song on this CD is Rigged and Ready. Norhtstar has a great way of putting their lyrics together. |

| I love this cd. I'd say some of the influences would be like The Movielife, Brand New, and umm maybe a little Thursday. And in the stores there are all these signs saying like "if you like taking back sunday, listen to this.." Thats pretty true also, if we're talking about old tbs. His voice is different but I think its great. It's too bad there are only 10 songs, but its still worth it. Highlights in my opinion are Broken Parachute, Black Heart Valentine, and Train Hopping in Dixieland. BEST SONG = Train Hopping in Dixieland! So go buy it or something. I'd say Northstar is one of the most underrated bands out there. |

| It's ok... I heard about these guys at a TBS show (TBS is a Northstar promotion machine.. what they say in the liner notes is true) and I bought the CD. Its ok, a lot of the songs get really boring. My Riccochet is really good but the others are - eh, I could do without most of them. Try it out, this band probably swings one way or another for TBS and Yellowcard and blah blah you know all the names fans. |

| I'm surprised I'm just recently hearing of these guys. They are really good, and this is like my favorite CD at the moment. Sidenote... I love Hot Water Music too, but they sound totally different from Northstar. My favorite tracks are 1, 3, 4, 6, and 7. |

| I've only had this album for a few days, and I already love it! The only reason I got it was because Taking Back Sunday said they were awesome, so I figured it was worth it, and it most definitely is. |

| Taking Back Sunday says these guys are the best band ever and that is a good opinion. This CD is great, only CD I've been listening to for awhile now. |

| This cd is awesome! My favorite songs are number 1,2,and 6, but I always just let it play through. I recomend it to people who are fans of Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Saves the Day. It hasn't left my cd player since I put it in! |
