Vandals

Sweatin' To The Oldies (Double)

Released on October 29, 2002

$13.75

It’s the Citizen Kane of punk rock long form videos and now it’s available on DVD, the fastest growing content medium ever. Directed by Jeff Stein (The Kids Are Alright / It Came From Hollywood) with 5 cameras and a 16 track analog soundtrack, this documentation of a classic Vandals Orange County performance from early in their career immediately set the standard by which all future punk long form videos have been judged. It looks great, it sounds amazing and it’s hilarious as it attempts to define the Vandals through personal profiles of its members laced throughout chaotic yet tight live stage performances. Added features include interactive menus, tons of never before seen out-take footage, commentary audio track from the band members themselves, bonus videos and footage from their former and present lives, not to mention trailers, previews and lots of hidden surprises.

Great double DVD from the Vandals!! Warren Fitzgerald is a funny motherfucker. The songs are good and you'll never see the Vandals play these songs live ever again! A lot of the stuff Warren plays dosent match what the song is doing but you'll only notice if you pay close attention.

This is a good dvd. The only part that pissed me off, was that a lot of the time the guitar didn't match up with what Warren was playing. The bonus footage is good, features a lot of crazy shit.

It has Warren in it doing funny things so that deserves 5 stars alone. The band commentary is also funny. The bonus material is also great. Buy this DVD, its worth every penny!!!!!
