Rilo Kiley - Execution Of All Things
Eclectic electric twang meets masterful songwriting on The Execution of All Things, Rilo Kiley's second, much anticipated full-length album. With Liz Phair
narrative sensibility, Bettie Serveert compositional beauty and Beachwood Sparks sunshine, Rilo Kiley's latest is a lyrically dense treasure that will have you searching for the story behind the evocative songs. In a word…sweeet.

I got news for y'all. This is a great cd especially if you're into the blake babies, juliana hatfield, the cranberries (pop example) and mazzy star. Its indie rock with a calming edge to it. The sample on interpunk made me take a chance on this cd because I knew it was gonna be a pleasant surprise. That one being the execution of all things. The good that wont come out, paints feeling, three hopeful thoughts and more are some good songs. This cd doesnt have any bad songs. If you buy it, you might find theres a few you may not care for as much as the others but its a must have for sure. Well worth the 11.75 to me. The 1st singer has such a beautiful voice.

awww. i love this band. the song that i had heard before that influenced me to purchase this was better son/daughter. very good song, very good band. jenny lewis is darling! she does what she does beautifully. every song is perfect. and conor accompanies her in one of the songs which is even better. well worth the money if you are into indie or emo, or are just partial to saddle creek stuff.

This is a very very good CD. If you like Death Cab this is probably right up your alley. "The Execution Of All Things" is probably the best song, but they are all really good. If you are looking for something mellow and groovy you should buy this CD.
