Yellowcard - Underdog EP

Underdog EP

Fueled By Ramen 53

Released on July 9, 2002

Sorry, but this item is no longer available

Yellowcard's newest release is a 5 track EP. It's super catchy and it's nearly impossible to get the songs out of your head. The violin adds that extra twist and these guys are obviously very talented. They have toured with bands like Homegrown, Sugarcult, Allister, Finch, Mad Caddies, Rise Against, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Pulley and The Exit. Not just your average punk band!

One of Yellowcards best CDs. Right between One For the Kids and Ocean Avenue, it has their old sound. All five songs are really good. Someone said they couldn't get into Finish Line, but it might be the best song on the album. A must have for any Yellowcard fan.

3/3/2004 by Rupert from Neptune, NJ Rating:
wow...there is hope out there. surrounded by dozens of cookie cutter "punk" bands, yellowcard delivers what ive been looking for. heart felt emotion, vibrant guitars, and the vocals arent as hard on the ears as ive come to find others to be. add the clean sound of a violin in the mix to contrast the raw guitar noise and youve got a refreshingly original attempt in a genre that is anything but original these days. id give it a 5 but..i cant just go throwing them around like water. a 4 is very respectable.

Nice little EP. If you are already a fan of Yellowcard you will like it. Very softcore sort of punk. I like it.

it's ok. you could find a lot more better songs on their other records. but it's good. i really like the song "Underdog"

5/11/2003 by John from Poughkeepsie, NY Rating:
Buying this cd was something that seemed like a good idea at the time. This EP is perfect for fans of Rufio, Allister and The Starting Line. Since I don't like any of those bands, I guess I shouldn't have bought it. Well anyway, this is 5 songs of pure catchy pop-punk.

4/24/2003 by Nicole from Boca Raton, FL Rating:
This EP was better than I thought. It's definitly worth the price. The violin really adds something different. If you like pop-punk music like Rufio, and The Starting Line it's great. All in all its good. If your not sure buy Finch..heh thats allways a great CD.

4/10/2003 by Dan from Naples, Italy Rating:
not as good as the full length, but still friggin good and worth your money...i think it's the lyrics, they are kind of corny if you ask me...what makes these guys different from the rest is the vocals...this guy has the most amazing voice. def check this out after one for the kids

4/2/2003 by Ben from Williamsport, PA Rating:
Some great new songs from a band with great potential and talent. Give it a listen, you won't regret it.

3/29/2003 by Mike from Kansas City, MO Rating:
Awesome violin. It fucken rules man. Its a twist from the normal Pop Punk. The full length is great also. Highly recommended. They are a great concert band too. Saw them at Warped 02.

3/7/2003 by Dj from St.louis, MO Rating:
