Sorrow, regret and revenge procreate in a dark lonely corner of your heart. It's that little piece of yourself that you try and hide from seeing the light of day. Southern California's Atreyu thrives on that darkness. For the past three years they have been winning over the hearts of the entire West Coast. They have already released a CD on Tribunal Records, and this is their first full length CD for Victory.

eh, nothing special...just your average whiny bitchy metalcore band...all i can say is that i wish the person i bought this for had a better taste in music..i'd definatly never waste my money on buying this for myself.

If you don't know who Atreyu is by now you must have been hiding under a rock or something, but this cd is in my mind their second best, I highly reccomend this and The Curse but not A deathgrip on yesterday

9/3/2006 by Andy from Crestview, FL Rating:
Atreyu has evolved alot since being formed in a small, lonesome side of the tracks in Cali......Hail the Conquistodor!

4/18/2006 by Laura from Saco, ME Rating:
Rockin CD! This would be an amazing debut album for any band to have. Although many of the reviews say Sucide Notes and Butterfly Kisses is better than The Curse I disagree. Sucide Notes is an awesome record but the quality of the music is a different level from The Curse. But I would reccomend any hardcore or metal fan to buy this album, the guitars are sick and Alex's screams make you want to mosh, great record.

2/23/2006 by John from Saline, MI Rating:
Atreyu is a hard rock band. Definatly get this if you like emo/hard rock. Don't get it if you don't like screaming. They're heavy screams, drums, bass, and guitar parts rock. Everything about this band rocks.

This album is awesome, way better than The Curse. The lyrics and vocals sound a lot better on this album. =)

this is a masterpiece. its absolutley amazing. i mean, just listen, its... AMAZINGGGGGGG and you will not regret buying it, it has very pretty nuances hidden everywhere and the lyrics are to die for they are soooooooo gooood!

11/25/2004 by Nick from Antioch, IL Rating:
Atreyu is one of the best hardcore bands and there and SN&BK is their best cd. The curse is pretty good too, but this cd blows that one out of the water. Atreyu is amazingly good live too. If you don't have this cd or don't like this band you are crazy.

11/23/2004 by Tommy from Anthem, AZ Rating:
A little lighter than their previous release, but still a great cd. I totally recommend this cd if you're into hardcore.

6/30/2004 by Brad from Rindge, NH Rating:
Good band, good CD. Aint love grand is a really great song. At first I hated the screaming voice, but it has really grown on me. A few of the songs really bite, but as a whole the CD is very listenable. The perfect CD to piss off all these drity new hampshire hippies. FUCK JERRY GARCIA, I have to hear that shit all day long.
