Revisting my youth a little bit here, but I still love these songs ten years later. This is a snazzy reissue that Kung Fu Records did. You can't go wrong with a Jawbreaker cover (boxcar) and 'Angry Nerd Rock' plus several other classics. I think Kris Roe is coming out of that experimental funk he had been in the last few years. I heard he is finally playing some of his older tunes. Get the Ataris first three releases on Kung Fu Records...then you may want to stop after that?

This cd is different from their newer releases in the sense that it is a lot more punk. Lots of short and fast-paced songs with some nice melodies. Also some bonus stuff for your pc such as a few video clips of the band doing acoustic songs.

Not a bad buy, but if you're new to them, rather buy their new album first.

The Ataris first release with some changes. Great album, one of my favourite ataris albums. They do a cover by Jawbreaker on this album too! Cool version(Boxcar) Buy it now!!!

This is definitly Ataris's best cd to date and it's the fastest cd they have made. The vocals are very catchy and that what makes some of these songs very good. The guitar work is good on some songs like Hey Kid and Angry Nerd Rock. The lyrics are very good also. I like the aucostic song Butterfly, it's very emotional. Anyways yeah, great cd worth buying. Now go buy it!

i would summarize this as another nameless "emo" cd. but it's pretty good. get a later ataris cd. thats better.

Well, this rerelease was better than expected. I liked alot of the reworked sound on the record. If you are an ataris fan who must own everyone of their albums, its worth getting this again for the extra songs like anderson. If you want to get into the ataris, i suggest buying broken hearts blue skies first because its their best introductory record to their sound. This album is a little more pop punk without any of the emo influences that start on broken hearts. If you are into emo buy End is Forever their last album they released. Looking forward to the new one coming out in February.

I was very suprised with this cd...I already had a burned copy of the original "Anywhere but Here" and bought this to complete my collection...not knowing this was a Special Edition CD. When I first got it I fell in love with this cd right away, almost every song on here is awesome. Plus they threw in an extra song, changed the order and added a new flavor to a few others. This is a must have for any Ataris fan, this has quickly became my favorite cd. buy it.

this is a good cd... i never had the original version of it, altho i wanted it, but i had a few mp3s... anyway, the songs i heard before sound the same but cleaner and stuff in a good way (at least in my opinion) and the rest of the cd is just great, like this is my favorite ataris cd now... oh yeah, it's good stuff
