| Yaphet Kotto - Killer Was In The Government Blankets |
Hailing from Santa Cruz, California Yaphet Kotto come forth with their first release. Their music is perfectly suited to Ebullition. If Yaphet Kotto would have existed four years ago they would have been playing with Current, Iconoclast, and Policy Of 3. Great screamy emo hardcore with a duel guitar and vocal attack.

| It took a while to grow on me, but this is a fantastic skramz album. Initially, I could barely hear the vocals, but if you turn it up loud enough, you realize how incredibly powerful the screaming is. Traditional without being formulaic, and, being on Ebullition, you know the band really has something important to say. |

| this is pure raw emo at its best. passionate double vocals, and heartfelt and maybe at times a littel cheasey for this day and age lyrics, but still very good none the less. im also a big fan of their newest cd, and see them live if you can, one of the last great emo bands alive. |

| One of the best screamo bands. They range from fast to slow, screaming to whispering, chaotic to melodic. They can get very political and have intelligent lyrics. This is one of my favorites. All of their albums are really cheap, so try at least one out and you'll soon be getting all of their stuff. So worth the $7. You'll love them. |

| Killer release. Not as good as "Syncopated Synthetic Laments for Love," by any means, but still an excellent release from one of the most passionate bands I have ever heard. |

| Whoa. Since I couldn't find any mp3's of this band on the internet, I just bought this cd hoping for the best, and it blew me away. Also, it was only $7 so I couldn't go wrong. So, yeah, this cd owns a lot. It has fairly simple but catchy hardcore-esque guitar riffs, and dual screaming and singing. It's a blast of energy. Fun music.
The songs Torn Pictures, First Agreements Meeting, and B and C are the best songs on the album. I highly recommend it to fans of City of Caterpillar, You and I, Still Life or I Hate Myself. |
