This is a great punk rock album. Many songs are fast and hard hitting. Mixed with those are a few radio hit songs, like City of Angels and Crazed Young Peeling which are very catchy. Brody doesn't sing like the average female singer, she showcases a gruff voice and punk rock snarl throughout the album. I'd say this album is closer to a 5 than a 4. I would recommend getting it

This is easily my favourite Distillers record. It doesn't let up from the first track to the last. If you could only pick one album from this band, it should be this one. Highly recommended and should be in everyones CD collection. I couldn't even say there was a track that was sub-par - I love them all. I have a special affection for the title-track however and will probably never get bored of it.

I'd think i would learn from my past mistakes but I don't. This is another case of hearing one great song and then buying the cd. The song in question is " City of Angels"( which is a fucking great song), but everything else is so poorly written that i can't stand it. They are talented musicians, but I'd advise you to spend your money on something better, like Social Distortion or Bad religion.

This is a very good album, not as good as the first one, but it definitely worth its price. City of Angels is an amazing song.

This is a great effort by the Distillers. It CANT be compared to their latest "Coral Fang" which is totally an empty record in my opinion. "Sing sing death house" is a very powerful album with strong guttural vocals. Hard and fast all the way. Reminds me of the bands I used to listen a few years back when i first got into punk, with all the raw energy, this is definitely not the kind of punk the "new" wave of pop-punk bands play. Brody gives it all on this disc. Some songs lack melody I find, but overall most tracks are very good.

Definetly the Distillers best cd, much much better than coral fang, i guess Brody forgot what punk is ever since she left timmy. But if you ever get a chance to see them live, DO IT, excellent show and brody is hot as balls.

This Cd is great. It is kinda hard to describe this type of punk, the best name for it would be melodic-hardcore or something. It's fast, it's angry and Brody's voice kicks fucking ass.. This is way better than their new CD, but the first one is the best.
