| Neurosis - A Sun That Never Sets |
Yet another mind boggling trip through pure delusional doom from Neurosis. This new one is a lot like "Times Of Grace", but again follows a totally new path of it's own. Shit this record is wierd. Some of the quietest, super-trippy, melodies laden thick with pure, untamed, psychotic aggression. Super heavy. I can't compare this to anyone for those of you who need to have bands compared to other bands, because Neurosis started this whole genre.

| This album is amazing. It took me quite awhile to get into it, though. At first it seemed to drag on and on and that the songs really didn't end up anywhere.
I then gave it another listen a few weeks later and realized that the album was beautiful. The musicianship of the members of this band is outstanding. This probably isn't the best album to buy if you are expecting something you can mosh to the entire time, but if you are looking into Neurosis, by now you probably are aware of their sound. Make sure to check this album out. |
