Pretty good record. Not as good as Treatment 5 though. 'Strangled' is an awesome song, along with 'Patience' and 'Motionless'.

A most excellent record I must say. Songs like "The Body" really makes this record better then "Treatment 5". Yes this is slower but the songs were more thought of and the musicianship is clearly out there. Buy this.

Not as good as treatment, really a little depressing and slow I dont want to be to down on it, i just had higher hopes. Strangled is the best and only song on the album i like.

This is one of those bands that came and went under the radar and never got properly recognized. They were one of Epitaph´s truly original acts, but sadly only released two full-lengths. This is the latest, more developed of the two, with most of the songs being more melodic like "13" and "Radio" from "Treatment 5". This should be a definite buy for fans of heartfelt, melodic punk that doesn´t sound like everything else. Supposedly Osker had a whole round of new songs ready for production right before they broke up, and sadly they will most likely never see the light of day. So just buy this and be glad we at least have something of theirs.

Slower than their first CD, but I like it much more. More diverse musically, cool lyrics. I say get both of their CD's.

I really like this record. I don't like earlier Oscar but I am into this. Its fairly poppish but not too much. Just good pop-punk.

Comparing this cd to their earlier release, "treatment 5" this is a very good cd, but it lacks what made treatment 5 such a killer cd... fucking anger! Devon expresses pure hatred and tells it how it is on treatment 5. Songs that you can scream along with when your pissed at the world. Idle will kill is truly much more matured osker, devon takes new meaning in the way he expresses and writes his lyrics, the songs still have a wonderful energy... i especially like the song "animal" wich starts out kind of soft and then breaks into a heap of energy. osker, a wonderful band... shame they had to end

Great cd, tons of energy, singer has really unique voice. Not your average punk band. First heard the single strangled on a comp and i was hooked. Buy this and you wont be disapointed.

| Well, Idle Will Kill is a bit different from Treatment 5. If you just wanna punk out your ass, power, spped & straight forward, Treatment 5 is better for you.
Yet, Idle Will Kill gets more mature songs. Music is also more skillful with extra curricular instruments. (Therefore, some tabs are still not available on net)
The whole cd is more serious than ever. Total time is much longer than the previous one too. This cd really gets meanings that it gives you another emo feel towards OSKER.
Still, concern more about the lyrics.
From brat punk to growing punk. Finally turns to folky punk (Fingers Cut Megamachine). |
