Straight from Switzerland comes THE PEACOCKS! Explosive, Psychobilly-influenced, stand-up bass driven music complimented by their flair for catchy pop melodies, lots of punk rock energy and hints of ska. Think REV. HORTON HEAT meets ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT and ELVIS COSTELLO! This dynamic trio consists of brothers Hasu (guitar + vox) and Simon (double bass + vox) joined by drummer Toni. With previous releases on Jump Up! Records and Tudor, Asian Man Records is proud to bring you their third full length release Angel, which features 16 memorable tracks that will rev you up and get you hooked on their music. In addition to touring the US three times, THE PEACOCKS have been been rocking for 10 years, playing over 350 shows throughout Europe, USA, Canada and Japan, and continue to be one of the most sought after live bands in Switzerland.

i gotta admit, i didnt know what to expect when i got this. for those who are used to tiger army, you may wanna take more that one listen before you make a judgement call. still, its a good album to have, especially if you're into psychobilly.

2/20/2006 by Eric from Angola, NY Rating:
Another great Peacocks album. Takes a few listens, as any cd does, but after you rock out to a few songs, you begin to realize the whole cd rocks straight through from beginning to end as do their other cds. Never heard them yet still??? Check these guys out now!!!! Any psycho/rockabilly fan will loooooooooove em'! Weeeeeeeeeeooooooooooh

5/29/2003 by John from Pittsburgh, PA Rating:
Many like this album the least out of all the Peacocks efforts but frankly it's just plain my favorite. Far less ska and a little more psycho so just right for me. I sure hope they come up with another cd soon because they are one kick-ass band but with three awesome cds they have more to put on their resume then mostly anyone. This cd should be on your shelf if you like any kind of punk, psychobilly, or rockabilly. Just buy it all ready dammit! Stay Sick
