Well, this cd seems to be the end of the old Alkaline Trio. Which is good. I've noticed many terrible ratings on Good Mourning and Crimson and they are by far Alkaline Trios BEST cds. Crimson is slightly better. Now, if you know Alkaline Trio through their old stuff then you will love this cd, it's less polished (too bad) and less talented. You can tell after listening to their newer stuff. If you learned about Alkaline Trio through their new stuff this cd might be borderline. Yes Alkaline Trio has changed, but definetely for the better. It's too bad their lyrics are poor, I don't understand why everyone loves it,but musically these guys are dinamite. Good songs are Armageddon and Stupid Kid. Invest in Crimson or Good Mourning then consider getting it. I don't have any regrets buying this cd, but it's lacking what their newer cds have.

This is one of the best Alkaline Trio CD's, besides Good Mourning. I think this is a showcase of who the trio really are, punk. The songs on From Here To Infirmary are classic trio. Overall this album is the step up from Maybe I'll Catch Fire and the lead in to Good Mourning. Some of the tracks on this cd are my favorite trio songs of all time like Armageddon, Stupid Kid, Trucks and Trains, Crawl, and Take Lots With Alcohol. If you like the Alkaline Trio than you should already own this cd.

I'm mixed on this album. It's really catchy, but it isn't really Alkaline Trio. It's kind of like they only have a half presence, and the rest of it is something completely differen't. Hopefully this wasn't because they toured with Blink 182. Also, I'm hoping there new CD "Church and Destroy" doesn't suck. Please go back to your old ways, Alkaline Trio!
