Crust + ska = the apocalypse. End of humanity.

More specifically, it turns out to be the 'Apocalyptic Hardcore Reggae Ska Crust Punk' of MSS.

Their chaotic nuclear crust attack is periodically supplemented by some appropriately crunchy and distorted ska upstrokes, adding a bit of variety and structure to the music that is sorely lacking in a lot of crust these days. Their next release, Doomed Future Today, expands on this idea even further and is in my opinion a slightly more accomplished album although this album is still incredible and has its share of moments, like the original version of "Finally Came Down to Bombs" which I actually prefer to the DFT version and is definitely one of the band's finest cuts.

If you like like your music catchy but extremely bleak and pissed, then check it out.

As an obnoxious fan of toxic narcotic i anticipated this release with baited breath, and i was not let down! Mss not only gives you the total ripping intensity of the toxic sound but they also interject an awesome ska / reggae flavor to select tracks that continues to distinguish themselves from other bands of this genre. Buy this shit. Stat.

not shure if i can say anything different, besides, buy the fuckin record, exspecially if you like toxic narcotic, i know it might sound bad... but i think it sounds better. its allot more gnarly too.... so if ya love crust punk with some regga/ska shit inbetween... youll love it.

It's better than blood for blood but it's not better than toxic narcotic. If you like toxic narcotic though,it's well worth your money.I enjoy the originality of it.

9/20/2006 by Alex from West Olive, MI Rating:
this cd is pretty good. im a big Toxic Narcotic fan. ive never listened to The Profit$ before though. but if your into toxic narcotic you will probly like this band. its pretty much TN with some ska thrown in the mix. its pretty good. buy it.

8/12/2006 by Laura from Glendale, AZ Rating:
if your in to toxic narcotic then your going to like mss there basically tn but with a harder sound. thers not one bad song on hear, and they have a couple reggae tracks on the cd to. over all its just a great cd, crust/punk/and reggae with lyrics about how humanity is a plage, you cant go wrong with this, id give it 10 stars if i could.
