Rock n' Roll Takes It's Toll

Aggravated Music 1003

Released on August 27, 2002

$8.00

We have a limited supply of this item and once our stock is gone there will be no more. Buy now with a credit card if you want one

Comprised of members that brought you Epitaph's brat-punk trio Osker, Aggravated Music now brings you Roscoe. Skratch Magazine says: "With what appears to be a rage filled furver, abstract lyrics are violently hurled towards the listener coupled with a sound that could wake the dead...roscoe takes a sound almost all their own, runs with it full force and head on to a brick wall". People who like what punk is all about will love this record.

My favorite hardcore album ever. The band is impossible to categorize within the genre, and appears to draw influences from pretty much everything. It's abstract, screamed vocals over strong, chugging guitar and bass, and then bursts into twangy lead at all the right moments--but make no mistake, this is not your average Bane-style hardcore. Songs like "March of the Band on Brine Shrimp in 1989 and Fuck You Yankee Blue Jeans are almost impossible to stop listening to; they are actually CATCHY, a quality very rare in this type of music. You should know that the record label that printed this CD has gone out of business, and the band is over. It is very unlikely that you will ever have another chance to buy this CD brand new so trust me, GET IT RIGHT NOW. It's only 7 bucks. This is practically the best deal you will ever find, anywhere.

I definitely vote for this CD. In many ways it reminds of Dag Nasty, or maybe more like Refused. I read a review in punk planet which confirmed that it is very original and uninspired by other bands, and it also said that it was just Osker showing how manly they are. If you like hardcore, it’s worth a try. Or if you’re like Osker. It has extra acoustic tracks at the end. It makes you drive violently. It has 17 tracks for just $7, so it’s worth a try. I loved it.
