No Self Control is the 4th full-length from Canada's ska-pop superheroes, The Planet Smashers. This album delves into the darker side of the Smashers while staying true to their party roots. Produced by Steven Drake (Tragically Hip, Barenaked Ladies, The Odds...). Look for them on this year's Vans Warped Tour '02.

| I was pretty dissapointed with this album. I guess I was just let down because I knew all the big songs like Blind, Skate or Die etc. i was hoping for more of these punk influenced songs, but didnt find any. But nevertheless they are still one of the best canadian ska bands ever. |

| i won't lie to you, i love the planety smashers, but this cd is sooooo medio-core, its like pretty good, but a bunch of the songs suck, and just sound cliche, but if you really like the planet smashers they go ahead i mean i still like the cd, but i wish i had picked a differant one
i own life of the party and unstoppable, those are both phenominal, buy those two first |

| I found out about the Planet Smashers from my friend Adam, bass player from Royal Noise Brigade. I originally thought I owned every punk/ska cd in existance....but after I heard these guys, I realised I was missing out on something big. Every song by this band is very catchy. They're probably more ska then punk, but don't let that fool you. They still play loads of energetic songs that will keep you bouncing around. Tight horns and guitar, moving bass melody and awesome vocals. Both of their cd's on interpunk are awesome, but my favorite is probably No Self Control. Planet Smashers are amazing!!! |
