7/6/2004 by Chris from Palm Harbor, FL Rating:
The Prisoners Dilemma reminds me a lot of a combination of the melodic hardcore of Alexisonfire and the emotional hardcore style of Silverstein. They are actually one of the most melodic bands I've heard so far. Another thing I like so much about TPD is the prominent bass that is all over the fretboard. It also has that wonderful growly Fender Jazz tone (and yes it is a jazz). All in all, you can tell by listening, everyone in the group is an extremely talented musician. The guitars always stay busy in this band, and choruses are very full bodied and powerful. Low-pitched vocals fans will rejoice due to the singer's voice being very subtle. This is perfect for the blood-curling scream that reminds me of Alexisonfire, but more sustained. Definitely worth the buy, and I can't wait for the full album release.

5/13/2004 by Jonah from Denver, CO Rating:
Pretty good stuff from this California band. They scream, they sing, they're angry, they're sad. Standout tracks are 1,4,5,7. I would recommend to anyone who likes the whole metalcore-mixed-with-emo genre. The downside is there's only eight tracks, and two of them are instrumentals.

Three stars for me.

5/4/2004 by Alex from Kirkella, Hull, United Kingdom Rating:
This is a good CD. Having heard some old demoes and not being impressed, I didn't have a lot of interest in this band, but I heard a track off this on a compilation, and it rocks. General melodic post-hardcore shit, hybrid of screaming and melody as usual. Good effort despite only having 8 tracks. I recommend keeping your eye on this band.
