Casualties

On The Front Line

Side One Dummy 71243

Released on February 17, 2004

With their previous LP - "Die Hards" The Casualties solidified themselves as the kings of the current street punk movement. Two years of non-stop touring lifted the band's profile. Now with "On The Front Line" The Casualties are ready to leave their scar on the modern punk masses. Produced by the legendary Bill Stevenson (Black Flag, Good Riddance, Rise Against, The Suicide Machines) "On The Front Line" finally captures the sonic assault that has been a trademark of the band's live show for years.

Good fast street punk. In my opinion On The Front Line is the best Casualties album. Fast, angry, raw music.

On The Front Line is a great album. Full of fast, chant along choruses, and working class ideals. But the formula of the choruses gets a little repetive sometimes because all of the songs have chants in the choruses. The best song is "Unknown Soldier." This album's theme involves the working class people, poverty, and anti-war. I'd say this is one of The Casualties best records if not the best. If you're a fan of Oi Oi Oi! Street punk, then this is most likely a record you'd like, so get it now!

Eh, heard better stuff from them. The spanish version of this LP was better because it was a hell of a lot faster. I loved them for Die Hards, this is pretty cool too I guess. Not like their other stuff, This one it's just kinda... blah.
