| This is an excellent hardcore record. The fast angry sound reminds me of an unholy union between Poison Idea and Discharge. Plus, there are some dark moments that bring to mind Black Sabbath. This CD includes the band's first few 7's as bonus tracks. They're much heavier sounding than the Can't Relate tracks, but the same feeling is present. This is highly recommended to anyone who likes hardcore the way it should be, fast, loud, and sick. Oh yeah. For the record, I was never an Aus Rotten fan, so if you hate Aus Rotten, don't write this band off. They're not the same. |

| I got this because I heard a few songs, liked the music, and saw that some of these guys were in Aus Rotten. It's completely different, however. The sound is more of a mix of Circle Jerks type punk with a crusty feel and look added. Lyrically, not very political. More like, typical hardcore I guess. I guess I liked it, even though it's not toally my thing. I listen to it every now and then when I'm in a bad mood. Yeah, it's mostly bad mood music. It's good. I'd suggest it. |

| This CD is excellent. It's a shame I only came across Caustic Christ recently because these guys are EXACTLY what I was after. Hardcore Punk. Good amount of tracks on here, some 7"s, and the LP. Probably the best CD i've bought for a while.

| First reason you should buy this cd is that you get a whopping 25 tracks of crusty hardcore goodness for real cheap. I bought this due to it having members from Aus Rotten. If you are looking for a further extension of the Aus Rotten sound your in the wrong place. The song writing is just different and the lyrics are not as good. Overall the band comes off as a lot less serious than Aus Rotten (not that the music isnt serious but the lyrics are not as heavy)
What we do have here though is a brutal sonic attack with a pulverizing guitar sound. If your into crusty material or even hardcore punk I would suggest this album. |

| great cd. i was impressed with caustic christ. but it is to be expected, as it is one of the ex-aus rotten bands. its a mix of american and scandinavian hardcore influences making it an overall pretty brutal sound. |

| Very good indeed. Brutal crust from ex-aus rotten members. Social and political commentary, along with powerful guitar and drums. If you think you can handle this then get it cuz its a great buy. |

| A good 50 minutes of some hardcore fuckin' music.
The "can't relate" portion of the cd is pretty good. It starts out really fast but eventually slows down a bit and becomes...a bit heavier? I don't know--it's all good crusty hardcore.
The 7' tracks are quite a bit faster. All together though, it blends together and forms a good 50 minutes of fast, crusty hardcore.
The liner notes are cool too--I love the images they've got in them. The caustic christ picture with the melting jesus is just amazing. But the music is what you're buying the cd for, right?
If you're looking at this you probably like this kind of music anyways. It's a awesome fucking cd and it's not too expensive. get it. |
