Flux Of Pink Indians/Epileptics

Split - Fits And Starts

(Crass)

Dr. Strange 97

Released on October 28, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

No you dont have cataracs, you read right. FLUX OF PINK INDIANS! Dr. Strange Records does it yet again by bringing you one of the "biggies" of the peace punk movement. You not only get FLUX OF PINK INDIANS but also the band that became FLUX: THE EPILEPTICS. (Many of the EPILEPTICS songs became FLUX OF PINK INDIANS songs). Playing right alongside bands such as Crass, DIRT, Icons of Filth, Subhumans, etc.. FLUX OF PINK INDIANS have a huge following, and rightly so. This cd has been re-mastered (NOT remixed!) to add more "punch" and loudness. This also contains the never before released version of THE EPILEPTICS 7"ep 1970's with Penny from Crass on drums. LOTS of ultra-rare stuff, never before released demos, live, as well as FLUX OF PINK INDIANS 7"s "Neu Smell" and "Taking a Liberty". 24 song of Anarcho-Punk Rock.

Like the review down two, i bought this not knowing it was all demos and live, and having never listened to flux, but i like it alright, the first two songs are horrible though, the vocals are shit but instead of just being cool punk shitty, its just loud and obnoxious, covering up the music, but after thats its better

its like american hardcore with and english singer, its pretty cool, reminds me of black flag

I love this cd, Anarcho//Peace, it's one of my favoites. Get this CD if you're a fan of the Licks//Flux, Most songs are rough recordings, but well done.

I was not psyched on this album. I picked this up as my first Flux album, and that was a bad idea. All demo's and live stuff is not a good way to get into a bands music. Smash guitar solo's? No thanks. Don't get me wrong, I think they are a good band, but I'd suggest getting something else.

mmmmmm... anarcho. FOPI and the epileptics are both classic. highly influential in the crust and anarcho scenes. know your roots, get this.
