9 of these tracks were recorded in Washington DC at the infamous Inner Ear with Ian MacKaye. Released on a joint BYO/Positive Force EP in 1985. A great hardcore cover of "99 Red Balloons", a pop hit by German singer Nena is a stand out. Some live tracks recorded at Fenders Ballroom in Long Beach were added & the full "Walk Together, Rock Together LP was first released in England.

A classic. Must have for anyone on this website. Underproduced and great for it. Really sounds like punk-rock. One of the reasons I started listening to punk.

2/22/2007 by Connor from Cary, NC Rating:
You know this album could be great. It could be as good as The Crew, but it isnt. Do you wanna know why? The production sucks dick. This is the weakest hardcore album I have ever heard. If it was produced like The Crew was produced, this would be a classic.

I like the ideas and the songwriting on this album. "99 Red Baloons", "Walk Together, Rock Together" and "In Your Face" are my favorite songs. Like I said, they would be much better if the production wasnt so sissy. "Spread", "We're Gonna Fight" and "Regress No Way" are some other great songs. The live songs on this cd are kinda sucky.... The Crew's live songs were fast,in your face type songs. These songs just sound like songs thrown together in like,1 minute.

I like the album, and I love 7 Seconds, but this album doesnt do it for me like The Crew did. Its more of a 3.5 than a 3 though. I would reccomend you buy it after you buy The Crew. Well, thats all I have to say.

7/4/2006 by Chris from Glassboro, NJ Rating:
This is an amazing album it as hard and fast as the crew and is just the greatest thing of all time. Buy it

If you are into old punk rock then you gotta check this out. 7 Seconds has intelligent lyrics backed by fast, energetic songs. My favorite on this album is their cover of that German chick's song that everybody has heard, "99 Red Balloons". Check out Goldfinger's version too.

2/1/2006 by Patti from Norfolk, MA Rating:
Dan not Patti, another amazing album from the greatest hardcore band ever, 7 seconds. who cares if the quality sucks, its the quality of the music that counts. if you are a fan of 7 seconds and you havent picked this up, do it...now

12/9/2005 by Michael from Southington, CT Rating:
Real good stuff...7 Seconds is forgotten by a lot of people but they're so damn catchy. Good west coast melodic hardcore from the 80's. Bring out the tube socks and rock'em off with this. Also has that crazy 99 balloons German nuclear holocaust song. This version is better.

They're still putting out good records too; they did one in the last year that was awesome too.

5/9/2005 by Mark Adam from Troy, TN Rating:
I've heard a ton of 7 seconds song on the and love them. 7 seconds is an awesome band but ugh this cd fellow short it was a let let down. It has to be the recording quallity, it was really bad the first half of the cd is good but the recording quallity on the last half is crappy. How ever this cd does have some awesome songs that are WELL worth listening to! not to mention its 7 seconds.

4/28/2004 by Matt from Huntingtown, MD Rating:
Classic early 80's hardcore with a more melodic ting. 7 Seconds and The Descendents help bring Melody into the Hardcore scene. A necessary buy for fans of PUNK MUSIC!!!

3/19/2004 by Patricia from Leroy, NY Rating:
First off, 7 seconds is an amazing band. One of the best punk has to offer in my opinion. They have everything.. fast songs, amazing lyrics, and an original hardcore sound without constant barking. Walk together is a great cd. But for 7 seconds fans who own the Crew.. it's hard to say that this cd even compares. On it's own without hearing the crew, walk together is great; But, compared to the Crew Walk together falls short. Production of this cd could be better.. although it's done by Ian mackaye, i still think the production is the crutch of the cd. This is a good cd considering after Walk, 7 seconds musical style changed and became worse in my opinion, but if you want to hear the best 7 sconds has to offer i recommend old school or the Crew first. 7 seconds is one of the best straightedge bands of all time. Musically, no one compares. Not in hardcore.
