| Warning: do NOT listen to this in a situation that demands being confined to a seat and general stillness. That probably qualifies as a form of torture. This compilation demands absolute balls-to-the-wall, totally-adrenaline-rush slam-dancing. They play fast as hell: sloppy but far from amateurish. Exactly the style of punk that made my mouth water when I discovered it as a teen, and still does. Check it out. |

| This feaures Gang Green's first batch of tunes. It includes their insane "Sold Out" demo and other brilliant adolescent ditties such as "Rabies" and "Kill a Commie". This CD is very short, but it's damn essential for classic hardcore fans. It showcased three dudes with goofy senses of humor playing the fastest, craziest music of the day. It was also a nice alternative to the overly serious bands in the Boston scene (among others) at the time. I'll take brutal goofiness over pointless, angry, straight-edge rhetoric anyday. Every scene needs a Gang Green! |

| what can i say? these guys were a landmark in hardcore history. if i`m not mistaken, some of the members were only 15 when they started the band. this stuff is unreal. i love it. these guys are super fast. pick this up asap. |

| Henry Garfield lectured them on their drinking habits. They didn't listen. The Misfits tried to get them laid. They were more interested in St. Marks Pizza. Jello Biafra tried to teach them his political views. They dedicate 'Kill A Commie' to him still.

| If you dont have this, your missing a part of hardcore history. Gang green rules, and this cd rules. I would get it if you like bands like D.R.I, The F.U'S, and all the boston bands.
"Sold Out" is the best song on the album. I love Chris Doherty's vocals in that song. They are so damn angry...
