A great introduction to those not familiar (?) with one of the most influential alternative bands of all times, and a great relief for those of us who only have Misfits on vinyl. A few tracks too many, but if it ain't broken...

i am a big alkaline trio fan and their main influence is the misfits so ive been meaning to check them out for years but when i bought legendary 70/80s punk albums from bands like the ramones, the clash and bad religion i thought that they didnt really work for me. this had left me wondering whether i should get a misfits album and finally i picked this baby up and was blown away, it is fucking amazing and i will definatly be buying more misfits albums.

Nothing much to add here, absolute classic. Songs like Bullet, Skulls, Where eagles dare and Astro Zombies are just legendary, and for a reason too. Get both Collections and there´s a good chance you´ll be into the Misfits for a loooong time.

I brought this along with the other collection CD rather then buying all of the misfits cds. It's basically a good mixture of their songs with Danzig, so if you're even remotely interested i suggest you buy it.

| Although I've listened to punk for a long time, I've never gotten into the Misfits. I don't know why, but I didn't. After hearing this, I'm glad I picked it up. They've got a really killer singalong quality to all the songs. It's catchy and consistent. If you haven't heard the Misfits before, this is a killer intro.
