Much like Alkaline Trio's "Good Mourning" Which i bought in this bundle and just reviewed, this is where Rancid started to decline but seemed to gain more popularity. However, Rancid has never put out anything as awful as some of the more recent Alk3 cd's. I really enjoy this album but the ones that followed were pretty weak until "Let The Domino's Fall" which i happen to think is a fantastic record.....Even with the presence of a new drummer. Of course, if you don't have the Rancid albums that precede Life Won't Wait, get those first. Life Won't Wait is undoubtedly a solid album through and through.

Rancid is a really good band, one of my favorites. This is my least favorite Rancid cd. Why? Well, its too damn long and alot of the songs sound the same. It's sort of hard to listen to it all the way through because its like 65 minutes.. I do like a handfull of songs though. "Bloodclot", "Corazon De Oro", "Hooligans", "Coppers", "1998" and "Black Lung" are my favorites.

Ranicd fans be warned, this is NOT a hardcore album. It doesnt sound like "Lets Go" "Rancid"(1993) or "Rancid"(2000). The closest album I can think of to it is "And Out Come the Wolves", but that album is much better, and it still isnt really what this sounds like. This album is reggae, ska and a bit punk. It is cool and all, but I like Rancid playing faster and louder. Dont get me wrong, this is a good album, but as I said before, its not as good as the rest.

This is defenatly not an album you want to start with if you have never heard Rancid before. Get "And Out Come the Wolves" or "Lets Go" first. It's a decent album, but its too long! 3 and a half stars.

6/1/2006 by Aaron from Danville, CA Rating:
First off, if you are buying this album you should know that it is a ska/reggae type of album. You should expect a ska/reggae kind of music style when buying this album.

This album successfully blends elements of punk, ska, and reggae into a fantastic CD. If you are expecting the faster, more hardcore punk music, like Rancid[1993], then don't buy this. Although it isn't as hardcore as other albums it still has fuckin epic songs, such as Black Lung and Corazon De Oro.

I, like many people, was dissapointed when I first heard this album, but I was smart enough to give it a few more shots... and it really grew on me. This is not really an album to surprise you first off, but is more of an album that grows on you the more you listen to it. Rancid is a fantastic band that knows what its doing. They just chose a different approach with this album.

My favorite albums of Rancid's are: Rancid[1993](awesome bass), Indestructible, and Let's Go. I gave this album a 4 out of 5 because it was not one of my favorites, dont get me wrong, this album is worth the money, and if you are into ska/reggae you will really like this album. One of my better albums, no doubt about it.

Not as good as I thought it would be, but its still pretty good, I was hopin for more fast songs... Some of the songs are way too slow and the intro coulda been dropped for another song..whatever buy it if you can or if you dont already have it.

alright, rancid is great. but unfortunatly this cd is no good. im more of a and out come the wolves and lets go fan. this is nothing of the sort. it is pop. im sorry, but it is.

10/6/2005 by Thor from Fairmont, MN Rating:
i just don't know if i like this or not, but i need to review it or i'll forget about it. idk it took awhile for all there cd's to grow on me. its definately slower/reggae-er/ska-er punk here. not for rancid fans of radio radio radio though. man...weird...hoover st kicks ass. tim really butchers words on this cd, worse than anything else, but i like when he does that.

2/20/2005 by Mary from Wadsworth, OH Rating:
this cd fuckin rocks. its got good laid back shit and its still got some hardcore shit. every song sounds different and you can listen to it the whole way through.

3/13/2004 by Pam from Rowlett, TX Rating:
life won't wait is rancids most reggae and ska cd its mainly because of the songs life won't wait and hulligans but some of my faverites is new dress, hoover street and cash culture and violence but overall this is one of rancids best cds

1/14/2004 by Caleb from Cowpens, SC Rating:
This CD is probably my favorite from Rancid. Lotsa reggae, a bit of ska, and a whole lotta punk. This, unlike most of their CDs, actually has some political and worldly messages, beyond that of just good morals. Or bad. Either way, this is an awesome CD. Buy it. Now.
