Without question, Discordance Axis will forever belong to the pantheon of uncompromising visionaries who liberated their chosen genres: the Stooges, Black Flag, Melvins, Fugazi. The only people who would disagree are those who have yet to hear Jouhou. Luckily for them, Hydrahead has re-issued this essential release.

| I like how this comes in a DVD case first of all, as well as some of their other releases. If your into some older grind these guys are it. They remind me of a cross of Converge and Pig Destroyer.....but not as good as either of those bands. |

| discordance axis is easily one of the most talented grind bands to ever exist. they do something that alot of bands never really do - play as hard and intense as their abilities possibly let them, ALL the time, which makes for a very intense listen.
so far i havnt been let down with anything theyve done. amazing cd, AMAZING band. |

| I have been getting into grindcore recently and this is my first grind purchase and certainly not my last, discordance axis deliver with intelligent songwriting and equaly great musicianship.Vocalist Jon Chang's growling is filled with exasperation that fits the music well which is highly abrasive, granted I do not listen to this that often but I still hold it in high regard, overall a worthy purchase from an exceptional band. |
