The best Crass album followed closely by 'Stations'. If you havent heard much of this band this is the best place to start. Kinda the band that you either love or hate as they arent always the easiest listening. You cant deny their influence and importance in the punk scene tho. Also check out conflict!

Alright, let's be honest. This is Crass at their earliest, and the mock-militant vibe is felt throughout the entire LP, which some people find annoying. (I personally think they change up their grooves enough to keep me interested and bouncing my head). Lyrics of course are great, and you can never go wrong with a free fold-out poster. Aesthetic is great, from artwork to the lyrics, to the message left in the waxing...shhh...

A great Crass album - not my favorite, and maybe not the best starter album, but very well done.

Just Buy the album, I know its good and everyone eles knows its good, and if they dont like it obviously they dont have the ear for great punk music. This is "The" best Crass album and right next to penis envy and stations of crass, This is Probly one of the most under-looked albums of all time. This is some good stuff, trust me...or dont.

10/9/2006 by James from Oakland, NJ Rating:
This album is probably Crass's most accessible and the best to listen to first. A lot of the songs (maybe all of them) have basically the same tempo, which makes the record really catchy and fun to sing along to. Of course, Crass's lyrics are very political, but that's what classic hardcore is all about. This is definitely a great record for any hardcore fan's collection.

This record is amazing. When i first popped into my record player i thought it sounded strange but thats because it has to be on 45 rpm. The record case is amazing. it unfolds into a really big poster. im not gonna tell what it is you gonna have to buy it. And the songs on it...classic. Definately 5 stars.

4/26/2004 by Scott from Berlin, CT Rating:
Alot of people seem to think this is the best crass album. I've heard alot of their later stuff and enjoyed in more then the feeding which is their early music. The lyrics are filled with polictical content, but this album will get annoying to most because the drum beats are basicly the same on every song. Crass is good stuff, but its not something I can listen to all the time. I would recomend some of there later stuff to people who haven't heard crass before. The weird thing aobut this album is its a 12 inch but its played at 45rpm and also the jacket folds out into a huge poster. Also my record was labeled inncorectly but whatever. Buy it don't buy it decide for your self.
