“Haymaker” will undoubtedly become the next pre-game soundtrack to the live-setting. A Throwdown show is a sweaty display of solidarity between brothers and sisters, united through their diversity and a celebration of independent thought free from mainstream constraints. The band smiles and laughs as the pent up frustrations from the daily grind, the 9-to-5, the dark and confusing times in which we live, are unleashed in cathartic release. Throwdown is a bludgeoning force to be sure, but one put to good use. Get the record, learn the words, head out to the show and get yourself... “In The Family.“

| if you are looking to get a throwdown album get this one. i didn't like it too much, but i think it is better than their older stuff. more metalcore type stuff. fortunately the vocalist with the shitty screams isn't on this album that made a BIG difference. i thought it would be a better album, but nothing special at all. if you like metalcore, with straight edge lyrics this album is definitely for you. sXe |

| wow- buying this CD was my first taste of Throwdown, and it leaves me wanting more. It is straight up hXc. It can get a little preachy, but you'll love it anyway. The guest vocals on songs 3 and 11 are awesome, too. If you like straightedge-metallic-hardcore, you'll love this CD. I do. |

| This cd is awesome. I was a bot worried at first as I was a huge fan of Keiths vocals and was not sure how Dave's vocals would come out on record, but I was not disapointed at all.
This album is just classic Throwdown with rad music, heartfelt lyrics and amazing breakdowns
Also the guest vocals from Chad Gilbert and Scott Vogel are both awesome too.
A triumphant sequel to "Blood..." |
