This is one of Less than Jake’s best ska/punk CD’s out there. More of a Pezcore than Losing Streak, this CD offers a good combination of Ska songs and Punk songs. Songs like “Down in Mission” and “Econolodged” are equivalent to Losing Streak style songs, while “Fucked” and “Pez King” are pure punk. Being one of their first CD’s, the recording quality isn’t high, but the horns and guitar come out perfectly. It also has the LTJ cover of “867-5309" as an added bonus. If you never heard of Less than Jake, I would suggest this as either you first or second CD to get, possibly behind Losing Streak. If you’re already a fan, this is a great way to fill in the Less than Jake’s early ska/punk years.

a collection of early LTJ 7 inches. Cool cd with a cool cover of "8675309". The best song is either "Soundcheck" or "Where In The Hell Is Mike Sinkovich". Get this cd for your collection!

I LOVE LESS THAN JAKE! They are my favorite band. I finally got to see them for my birthday last year cuz they FINALLY came back to Reno. I got invited to the after party but couldn't go cuz my boyfriend's an idiot. I cried when I got home. Anyway, about the cd..... I got this cd 5 years ago and I got it stolen from me. I had a whole LTJ collection and It somehow got reduced to 1 cd after everything of mine got stolen. Now I'm slowly rebuilding my collection I have 8 cds so far, but I'm a poor girl. Anyway....if you like old school Less Than Jake, check out this album. You won't regret it.

Average...i bought all the other Less Than Jake CDs before this one and they were all phenominal. Oh man they're such an awesome band, but I cant say that i loved this CD. The songs sound sorta crappily put together. There are some god points to this album though. Like the cover songs like "Jenny (867-5309)" and "Laverne and Shirley" and there are a few songs that i like. the rest is...ehhhh.....spend your money on a sick ltj album like...any of their other ones. only get this if ur a crazy Less Than Jake fan. oh yeah...and my names Tyler, not Karen.

This is AWESOME!!! This is a combination of their first 7" records. The recording isn't that horrible, just turn it up to full volume and it's just fine. The best song by far is Soundman/Soundcheck, other good ones are the 867-5309 cover, Pez Kings, Wish Pig, 24 Hours in Paramus, and Whipping Boy. But all the songs are good. If you are new to Less Than Jake, don't buy this yet, get Losing Streak or Hello Rockview first. See ya!

Less Than Jake Rules...period. so, even though this CD had sorta shitty recording this still kicks the shit out of ANY simple plan or good charlotte shit. If you like Less Than Jake you gotta buy this album it has the original sounds of LTJ and its plentiful on the horns unlike anthem. though pezcore redoes, and does some of these songs better, its still worth buying. BUY IT OR ILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND PUT GUM IN YOUR HAIR....Later Kids...Nuckle Brothers are good but this sote doesnt carry the cd. oh yeah one last thing, it sucks that peter from SLAPSTICK quit LTJ but they still kick ass. bye

Less Than Jake is my favorite band so I gotta give this album 5 stars. I enjoyed this album but I don't think it's as good as the other LTJ albums I own. I'd have to say Losing Streak is their best. The sound quality of this album is poor but still listenable. The stand out tracks on this album are definetly "Soundman" and "Where In The Hell Is Mike Sinkovich?" They also do good cover songs of 867-5309 and the Laverne and Shirley theme song. Get this album if your a hardcore LTJ fan but if your just getting into them I recomend Hello Rockview or Losing Streak first.

By the way their new album Anthem rules!!!
