This is an amazing effort by the souls. it has a few slower songs than anything on self titled but i didn't mind at all. kids and heroes is an awesome anthem, new day is catchy as hell and i love the heaviness of better days. there isn't a bad song on here so go ahead and support a long time epitaph band and pick this up.by the way if you dont have do you remember or live at the glass house then you are a fool!

Not the best souls record but overall is good. They played a couple of these songs live on the Gold Tour like Sing Along Forever and Kids and Heroes (acoustic). If you have the double disc live album you have heard some songs off this record like Anchors Aweigh, Sing Along Forever, Kids and Heroes, Born Free, and Apartment 5F. Also, a live version of Born Free was featured on Rock Against Bush Volume 2. At times it doesn't seem like an album as a whole with the songs not flowing together but still has a lot of good songs with a mixture of slow, mid-tempo and straight up fast ass punk songs that wouldn't be out of place on Maniacal Laughter.

Go see this band live because you will be blown the fuck away.

This CD is brilliant. By far my favorite Bouning Souls CD and I have and love every one of their albums. I was surprised when I realized it came out in 2003, it has the 90's punk feel. Strongly recommended.

its really a 4 and a half. Its a great record. Really shows the souls musical side more than like on Maniacal Laughter. Its kind of like the gold record. Its an awsome cd. My favorite song is "Apartment 5f", "kids and hero"s and "anchors aweigh". A cool cd to have, one of the souls best

Well, this is my first Bouncing Souls CD(a little late to the party, I know) and I must say I am impressed. Just great straight-up punk that ranges from upbeat to (somehwhat)slow and also has some great, positive lyrical content, a nice change of pace. Granted, some of the songs are a bit forgettable, as the album drags a bit in parts, lowering my score. But all in all, a pleasant introduction to the Bouncing Souls. I'll definitely be checking out more of their stuff.

Woo! 16 (plus one hidden track) of pure greatness! This is my first Souls CD but certainly won't be the last. Highlights are the singles Sing Along Forever and Kids & Heroes, as well as the super-fast Born Free and Apartment 5-f. There's also some cool enhanced stuff on here. I saw these guys live last night and from the sounds of things most of their new stuff is a bit slower than their old stuff, but if you like souls I doubt you will be disappointed by this CD!

Bouncing Souls is always a good buy. Good songs, sounds like all there other music. If you like their other cds get this one. Some pretty good tracks for people looking for some summertime chill music out on the deck.

big dissapointment; most of the songs suck and lack energy, the best song is probley "born free". I wouldnt suggest buying this cd unless you like the slow sad bastard shit that makes you want to slit your wrists.
