Well, the cd is okay, there are great bands and songs on it, but not enough to make it to the must-buy compilations list, like Punk-o-rama 7 or 9.

Though this compilation I learned that The Distillers make great music. And the Bad Religion songs are great (as always).

If you can live without these $6, buy it, if you want to have a really good compilation, buy another Punk-o-rama cd or surprise yourself with an Honest Don compilation.

I thought this was pretty good. A couple songs I really couldn't stand, but at least there is 2 discs so you get more to listen too. The two unreleased Bad Religion songs were excellent! Other highlights were Tiger Army, The Distillers, NoFx, Transplants, Death By Stereo, Hot Water Music, Refused, and Dropkick Murphys, but I think you can get most of those bands songs (as well as most of the other bands songs) already on each bands albums. I would have liked some more unreleased & rare tracks.

4/1/2004 by Ginny from Burlington, NJ Rating:
this is a great cd tons of mixed up bands in there everything from pennywise to fists up the first cd is less hardcore then the second. im glad i bought cd. it def wasnt a pop punk album but i think thers alot of better compilations.... :)

2/22/2004 by Naomi from Sharjah, United Arab Emi Rating:
this is one of my favourite punk-o-ramas, especially the second disk, has some random not punk tracks like no.6 by Atmosphere- bird sings why the cage i knows. the death by stereo song is real great as well. basically this volume has a bit more variety than the other punk-o-ramas and way more songs to and what is it like $6.00 just get it

2/11/2004 by Chris from Merrick, NY Rating:
OKAY. not as good as the other ones. it seems more metal and emo and pop. no more punk left besides nofx, rancid, bad religion, pennywise, and dropkick. if you're a true fan of these bands or a collector of the series then get it. otherwise, just buy somethin else. im brian, not chris

11/28/2003 by Jessica from Evansville, MN Rating:
This cd has some awesome songs but it has some pretty bad ones too. All in all it's totally worth the $6. The best songs are the ones by Bad Religion and Millencolin. But it also has some crappy rap songs. I dont know what thats about but there are only a few. Definately buy this album for the good bands but listen to it for some of the new stuff on it too.

11/8/2003 by Lawrence from Wellington, OH Rating:
great previews to some great albumns, get this if you dont know many of the bands so you can get a listen and decide if you want to go out and buy their records, pretty good compilation.

10/21/2003 by Matt from Burlington, VT Rating:
piece-o-shit. the only good POR out there are 6,3 and 4. all else is horrible. im really losin faith in comps. just another tool to make money now.

8/16/2003 by Jordan from Apo, AP Rating:
Remember when the Punk-O-Rama Cd's were good? Me niether...OK Im kidding. But since about Volume Four I havent been impressed. The best songs on the CD are from the bands I whose CD's I already owned(i.e. Rancid, HWM, NOFX, and The Transplants). If your like me and looking for cool new bands...Epitaph doesnt have em.

8/11/2003 by Brian from Sunland, CA Rating:
This CD is ok, ive had it for a while now and it had a couple songs i liked, mainly from bands who have been around for a while like rancid and bad religion but there was one song that made me mad cause this is supposed to be Punk O Rama but track 12 was some piece of shit song that sounded like rap, like it wasnt punk or even rock at all. I dont know how a song like that gets on a punk o rama but the newer punk o ramas that come out arent as good as the older ones
