Mad Caddies

Just One More

Fat Wreck Chords 645

Released on March 11, 2003

$8.00

Santa Barbara's very own Mad Caddies roll out the barrel once again with "Just One More", their brand new full length. If you don't know who these guys are, or what they sound like, you're really in for something special. Picture taking a big old mason jar, filling it up with some pure grain alcohol (punk rock), add a bit of weed (reggae), a dash of bourbon (Dixieland), and a bottle of ale (Ska); shake it up and stick it in the back of a van, take it across the country, then across the world, and then store it in a practice space for a while. Take a swig off that mash and you'll know exactly what the Mad Caddies are all about.

I gotta admit this is a really good album from mad caddies, but I just thought something was missin out. Dont get me wrong its a good album and I think you should start from earlier albums from what Ive been told. Some of the songs are really well done and catchy as hell too. What I would have liked would prbably be if it were a bit faster throughout the cd since a lot of it is really mellow. good buy overall

This cd is a pile of fuck, like the rest of these reviews in here, you guys (or girls) are by far the worst reviewers in the world, ever. I mean you barely talk about the cd, and don't even give much of a reason why you did or did not like it. What the crap? I personally will never read these reviews again, ever. I mean come on, my little pinky has more reviewing talent than you fools. I am hardcore, and don't you forget it. Mack Daddy to the Daddy Mack, my Negroes.

Excellent ska-punk CD. Very fun and listenable. Highlights are Drinking for Eleven, Silence, Just One More, and Good Intentions.

This is my first Mad Caddies CD and it is amazing! There are so many different styles of music on here its like you are listening to a mix CD! Its got regge, hardcore, ska. Its definately worth the money. If you like the Mad Caddies you definately have to buy this CD.

What happened to the Mad Caddies? They used to be so creative and original. This CD is better than 'Rock the Plank', but much worse than 'Quality Softcore' and 'Duck and Cover'. If I didnt like those CD's so much I wouldnt have bought it. If your looking for something up to par with thier first two. Dont waste your cash. If your want another mediocre ska album to add to your collection or you love the Caddies, do it.

i was really disappointed with this cd.... i dont like how the mad caddies have put so much banjo and dixieland crap on all their songs here. it reminds me of old movies about mississippi with the steamboats. haha. i dont know... i guess i just liked them more when they were straight third wave ska.

This is a really good album upon a couple of listens. I was a little disappointed at first, but after a while it grew on me. If you are a Mad Caddies or ska/punk fan it's worth it to pick up, but you might be better of starting with something like Quality Softcore or Duck and Cover.

This is great. It's better than a grilled cheese sandwich. Lots of fun to listen to while you rock out in your bedroom with your bass. I must ask you to buy this, if you like all of that good ska like I do. Better yet, buy this and then every other Mad Caddies album and then every Five Iron Frenzy album(you can only get Minature Golf Courses of America off of this site....sigh), then every Less Than Jake album(even Anthem, if you have a lot of cash), then some Big D and the Kids Table(great band), and then finish it all off with a little Hippos(get Heads Are Gonna Roll, which they don't have on this site either.............sigh). Than for all you people who like the good rock n' roll, get Squad Five-O(self-titled). Then come to Walla Walla and gaze at the cloudless sky and thank me for reccomending all of these great albums for your personal enjoyment. Than pat yourself on the back and be glad. But if you really want true happiness, just find someone you can connect with and possibly even find someone who can also connect with you. Then no matter what you do for the rest of your life, always treat this person with compassion and respect and never lose them. I believe this will bring you true happiness. Now, if you have read all of this I congradulate you for spending this much time to read something from a person that you'll probably never meet. And oh yeah, have a nice day and buy some nice CDs for yourself or a loved one. Go in peace and unity, and please live a great life and do good things to improve the earth and to become a better person!

Mad Caddies...... WOW... these guys are my absolute favourite band.. 4 cd's and 1 ep.. not 1 song that sounds anywhere near another one.. i dont skip one track on any of their albums. this one is as great as any other they've made. it's experimental.. the horns are flirting with mexican/spanish sounds.. most of the ska is gone.. i think it's a bit sad 'cause i love ska music, but it rules anyway. buy it!
