New Hampshire’s Our Last Night enters the next stage of their evolution with The Age of Ignorance. Formed by brothers Trevor and Matt Wentworth when Trevor was only 11, the band signed with Epitaph a few years later and rapidly began to build their profile, touring alongside Saosin, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Attack Attack, I See Stars, From First to Last and Four Year Strong among others. Their youth created a huge internet buzz, but when fans came out to see the band they were blown away by the power of the music and the maturity of the writing. Now on their third Epitaph release, Our Last Night are truly coming into their own, as Trevor has developed into a charismatic frontman whose intense but highly melodic singing provides a potent contrast to the hardcore scream of older brother Matt. Trevor has emerged as a singer to watch, guesting vocals on the Devil Wears Prada’s 2009 release With Roots Above and Branches Below. Now 2012 will be the year of Our Last Night, with extensive fall touring and a new album that presents a band coming into their mature glory.
