NOFX just wrapped up the recording of their
new full-length album. While that won’t be
released until the fall, we’ve got a brand new
single to tide you over until then: My Stepdad’s
a Cop and My Stepmom’s a Domme. Due out
June 19th, My Stepdad features two brand new
NOFX songs, recorded a couple months before
they began work on their upcoming full-length.
Both songs are unmistakably NOFX. Musically
they showcase the hallmark breakneck melodies
that NOFX made an institution. And lyrically,
well, seriously, who else is writing songs called
“My Stepdad’s a Cop and My Stepmom’s a
Domme”? Where does the inspiration for
something like that come from? Actually, it’s
best not to think about it and just enjoy the ride.
