| Adolescents - Brats In Battalions |
Recorded in 1987, six years after the classic 1981 debut Adolescents, this 13 track album features original members Tony Cadena, Rikk Agnew and Steve Soto. The exemplary Brats find the band delivering a hybrid punk/pop sound that would go on to influence a host of platinum “punk” bands. Along with the original penned tracks “Brats In Battalions”, “Skate Babylon” and “Marching With the Reich”, the band recorded a blistering cover of The Stooges “I Got A Right” and a super punked up version of the Animals “House of the Rising Sun”. Also included are re-recorded versions of songs from the Welcome To Reality EP; “Losing Battle”, “Things Start Moving” and “Welcome To Reality”.

| This album is just amazing. Not a single bad track can be found on it. Anyone who enjoyed the self-titled ("Blue album") release from this band will most probably like this too. Standout tracks are the title track, I Love You, She Wolf and their cover of The Stooges' I Got A Right. |
