| Leftovers - Eager To Please |
The Leftovers ultra-catchy power pop gems in their new release, “Eager To Please”, successfully combines the classic 60's sounds of The Beatles and the Beach Boys with the 70's power pop of Elvis Costello, The Romantics and The Rubinoos, while keeping the upbeat energy of The Ramones and The Queers. That's right folks, "Eager To Please" has a little something for every fan of power pop and post punk music.

| A bunch of average songs about problems with the ladies. This might be good for a younger age group, maybe I'm just getting too old to appreciate stuff like this. If you like pop-punk and you have a paper due in English II, but you haven't been working on it because that's the class with the cute girl who always totally lets you borrow her pen and gives you paper when you need it and you're too preoccupied trying to find the correct words to allow you to awkwardly fondle her boobies, get this album. If you have a steady job and no longer borrow your parents' car, don't get this album.
Three stars for being generic and me not being the right demographic. |

| This is another great record from this really great band. They sound like Screeching Weasel fronted by Elvis Costello! Bizarre concept I hear you say but it really works. Glad to see them putting Dance with me on here again, this song should be on heavy rotation on every music channel & radio show in the world. While your buying this just pick up the other two & Dance with me! |

| This is definatly the most Poppy of there cds. It sounds as if the beatles influenced this more than the Ramones. But a strong cd that grabs you right away. A must have for any Queers Lillingtons Weasel TBR fan. |

| This is a great album. Most of the song are catchy, fun, and upbeat. I really like the modernized 60's influence, and I'm digging the keyboards witch is featured in almost every song. I'm giving this album a 4 out of 5 though. The reason behind that is because every song is about girls with the exception of one, it just gets old after a while. But I should have expected that from the Leftovers. |
