pretty much everything the queers do is awesome. i just saw them live in bloomington, IN, and it was my 7th time seeing them. this was a great re-recording of some classics. however, the way they recorded Joe's vocals makes him sound somewhat weak, and any queers fan knows that ain't true. if you're a queers fan, you HAVE to buy this. if you've never bought a queers album, wait for the asian man re-releases and get Don't Back Down.

it's just some of the classics that the queers have re-recorded. the new recordings are good for the old stuff, but some of the new versions aren't as good as the originals (punk rock girls, another girl). just wish that i met her at the rat was on here.

the queers, being my favorite band, have definately made me happy putting this cd together. re-recording some classics and even a few of their newer songs, and just making a kick ass queers "best of" cd. the drummer on this album actually tours with dick dale and told me about this cd coming out and when he let me know i had to get it as soon as it came out. definately pick this one up!

This album of re-recorded tunes is excellent...it is also a must have for anybody that wants to check out what the Queers sound like...They are tough yet very pop orientend. Best Tunes include: Kicked out of the Weblos, Your Tripping, Love Love Love, and Fuck this world... Do yourself a favor and go see them live!!!

Pretty cool idea. A "Best Of" re-recorded with a new line up. This release is absolutely not for your casual Queers fan. Stick to "Don't Back Down," or "Grow Up" if you are. But, if you [such as myself] have listened to the Queers since "Love Songs..." was first released and have subsequently picked up everything else they've done; then by all means buy this.

I wish they put "Queerbait" on this album. Oh well.

15 Queers classics re-recorded with the latest lineup, which now includes Joe Queer, Phillip Hill from the Teen Idols (on bass!) & Dusty Watson on drums. I personally would have preferred some earlier material myself, such as "Boobarella", "I Met Her At The Rat", or "I Don't Wanna Get Involved" instead of newer stuff like "I Wanna Be Happy" or "Psycho Over You", but the songs sound GREAT & this is definitely worth purchasing as a "holdover" until pop/surf punk's FINEST band releases some new stuff.

Some other suggestions for "Volume Two": "We'd Have A Riot Doing Heroin", "Tulu Is A Wimp", "I Want Cunt" & "Goodbye California".
