| This Time Next Year - The Longest Way Home EP |
This Time Next Year is arelatively young pop punk band from northern California that have been receiving rave reviews. The Longest Way Home offers two brand new songs, an acoustic rendition of "Sweetest Air" and a cover of the Kid Dynamite song "3 O'Clock." The new songs carry the same straightforward and upbeat brand of punk while the acoustic version of "Sweetest Air" shows that although This Time Next Year play a familiar
style of music, they are not a one sided punk band.

| I really like this album. Very catchy pop punk. It's a more refined, cleaned up and energetic album compared to their first one. I think by far the best song on the album is the first track, "Alex In Wonderland", which I have listened to a ton of times by now. The others songs are solid as well. I am looking forward to hearing a full length release from this band. If you like this general genre, I would but this CD. I personally think it's worth it for the first song along. |
